as i mentioned before green can't be signed and traded however we could offer

something like ray(5-6mill) + jjj +etwuan +pick

for

asik+brewer or korver

it would work out number wise

think the pick would have to be a first rounder, although it might be worthwhile as asik is a quality big which is very hard to get, and brewer or korver are productive players too. A sign and trade like this would let us add a free agent and keep bradon and jeff's bird rights

we obviously need a center that can rebound. but asik got no offense what so ever. he is 27, white and not very athletic.

seriously?!?!  smh

If you have not noticed white bigs have a tendency to break down relatively early in their careers

yea, white dna makes u prone to injury  ::)

Ralph Sampson
Yao Ming
Greg Oden
Pervis Ellison

Lets be honest, big men breaking down early is a big man problem.  Some guys just get to big for their own bodies health.

I don't get this new thing of trading Green.

I get he didn't do well in his two months learning a new system and players on the fly, coming off the bench and replacing a guy that every one would have died for.

Greens biggest problem is hes not Peirce and people are expecting some one the same to replace him. Not going to happen.

I could see this team turning more into the Pistons, full of guys that score around 15 a game and plays good D.

So instead of a S&T couldn't we just make an offer on Asik? 5 Mill would do it, I don't think the Bulls would go more than that. Not even sure the C's should. There are other centers like Gray,Lopez that they could go after.

Green has multiple big problems for being resigned

1) Coming off a heart issue
2) Is not a star player nor did he fit the need well
3) Plays the same position as Pierce

And Many of us who would like to see such a trade are thinking of the Pistons.  The one that signed average to above average players to near star contracts and have been terrible since.
