If you were Charlotte and you kept the pick, who would you draft?

While Anthony Davis is the obvious number one I think after that gets a little foggy. There's been rumors of Charlotte shopping the pick but if they kept it who would you draft?

I'd select Robinson. Charlotte really needs a culture change after that season and TRob could bring just that. He is also very athletic and can score inside and out. A ferocious rebounder who will only improve on defense under the right coach. He is a very hard worker and has a non stop motor. Could step in and average 16/8 right away.

Also, not sure why people say he is undersized...last time I checked 6'9 and 240 pounds is not undersized for a PF

I would be trying to trade it. Either for a young prospect already in the league or to trade down and pickup an additional asset in the process.

I would do the same but if they were stuck with the pick..essentially I'm asking who people think the 2nd best player in this draft is...

He's got the best attitude, but I'm not sure how his skills will translate to the NBA. What about Harrison Barnes, or if they want to be patient, Andre Drummond?

I'd take Robinson. He's not the kind of guy you could build a team around but i think he'll develope into a better player than anyone they could trade the pick for. I'll predict he'll be the first Bobcats player to make an all star team.

Drummond, without a moment's hesitation!

Could he be a bust, a la Kwame, quite possibly.

His upside at only 19 and being a beast physically already is far steeper than his potential downside.

I think that he eventually can be a better pick than Anthony Davis. I doubt that he will be a worse pick than Kwame Brown.

Drummond is a potential franchise player. It's a no-brainer for me. The "Cats have plenty of time for him to develop. They aren't going anywhere real quick, so they have plenty of time.

I agree. For my fantasy team strategy, the "MJ effect" is a big statistic. Being picked by the Bobcats automatically drops you 10 spots on my board.

This is where we see if he has any guts as a GM though. After wiffing on Kwame, taking Drummond would be a big risk. I would take Drummond myself though.

he has a major loyalty to NC players.  expect him to follow that obsession in this draft (if they keep the pick)

Same. charlotte already has enough young guys that need to develop and figure out how to play nba basketball. getting a young veteran leader on that squad would help immensely.

I'd be trying to deal it, say to the Celtics for Bradley, 21, and 22.   ;D

Seriously, Drummond would be the direction I would take.

Robinson = starting PF

MKG = Potential All Star Player, if not at worse heart and soul

Drummond = too risky for a franchise that needs stability.

Barnes = same as drummond


MKG is prob the best pick. But not franchise material. Won't be able to help the cats win with skills.

If another team like Blazers or Rockets , is willing to give up both picks, plus another player (Rockets), i would highly consider making a trade.

Bradley Beal.  He's the most well-rounded prospect in this draft.  The only thing he doesn't do is post up, although I can see him doing it against point guards on occasion but otherwise, he's got every skill down.  Driving, ballhandling, passing, decision making, shooting in a variety of ways, all around defensive contributions.  He suffered a prolong shooting slump from three during the season that depressed his three point percentage but he picked it up as expected.  It wouldn't be surprising if he's a 40 percent long range shooter more seasons than not.

He might be the only prospect in this draft capable of putting up 20/5/5 numbers.
