If you were Charlotte and you kept the pick, who would you draft?

I would have to go with MKG. If I where the GM of the bobcats I hope to develop Henderson, MKG, and Biyombo into my 3 pieces for the future. At least they would then have the pieces in place to build a tough defensive minded team.

That orginization needs a sure thing.  They need to take Robinson.

I would be trying to trade it. Either for a young prospect already in the league or to trade down and pickup an additional asset in the process.

Charlotte has a ton of needs, and one player isn't going to do it for them.

I'd trade down, either mid- or late-lottery, get another 1st next year, maybe another 2nd this year, try and add a young player too.  They could easily get 3-4 more picks by trading down.

trade

#2 + #31 to portland

for #6 + #11

then trade #6 for Deng,Iggy, or T Evans

then at #11 draft T Zeller

at least that is a solid start in the right direction.

If the trade goes #6 for evans then Sac drafts Drummond and Barnes/MKG at 5 and 6.
