MKG = Without a consistent jumper, nor with range, nor ability to create his own shot well, he plays a game that of a PF better than SF. Always sticking around the basket, trying to get rebounds, trying to power in shots. Its going to be interesting how he transitions into the nba. Another Gerald Wallace or Iguadala

Thomas Robinson = Elton Brand #2. Just not tall enough to be a great pf in the league. Is going to struggle at times against taller players at both ends of the court

Damian Lillard = Sometimes pass first then shoot. Would be better as a sg, but lacks length

Jared Sullinger = Just like Robinson a inch or two, too short. Is actually a center. Will struggle in the nba against taller opponents who are just as strong

Andrew Nicholson = SF + PF. Shoot like a sf, but blocks like a pf. Post like a PF and dribbles like a sf. However two things that has prevents him from being a lotto pick is that, he passes like a pf and rebounds like a sf. Has to improve rebounding to excel in the nba

Royce White = Anthony Mason part 2. Plays defence like a C and tries to reach too much and body up on players , instead of using footwork. Has sf height, better suited to be a pf due to lack of quickness and plays D like a C

Draymond Green = Has some paul pierce in his game. Passing and rebounding are elite for a guy 6'6. Has a combination of both sf/pf games. But due to his stocky body, will have to play pf in the nba. I wonder how much better in shape he could get into. Especially how much quicker. If he lost 10-12 pounds (now 235) and added speed to hang with any sf's, he could be a huge steal in the draft.

Dion Waiters = A true Combo guard. Will have difficulties in the nba vs taller sg's and can't lead a team like a pg can.

anyone else i'm missing??

Nicholson and Green are intriguing prospects and we will have realistic chances to pick them. There are questions to what would happen to nicholson's game if he bulks up. Maybe it improves his rebounding, but hampers his mobility? Lights out during the tourney, even against high seeded teams will be hard to overlook.

With Green imo there are no questions. If he can lose 10-15 pounds and gain some speed, he will be a terrific sf in the nba.

I can't say I agree with classifying MKG as a tweener. He's really a prototypical 3 with a weakness. His athleticism, size and ability are all that of a 3 in this league. If he can develop a consistent jumper, he could be among the best in the league at the position.

Perry Jones, Terrance Jones, Khris Middleton, Tony Wroten, Austin Rivers, Will Barton, there are a few PF/C but I don't really consider them tweeners.

Also, I don't really consider TRob or Sullinger tweeners. They really are just undersized.

First off Nicholson is 6'8.5" with a 7'4" wingspan, at 235 not exactly a tweener. And with the way doc likes to put 4 shooters out there with rondo I think Nicholson would fit us nicely. He can run the court and shoot the ball well enough to play the James Posey roll and still have some length on the court. And if they put a smaller guy on him he can simply post them up. He obviously has areas to work on but if he has only been playing for 6 years I think he is progressing very well.

Royce white a tweener? Royce white is NOT Anthony Mason 2.0.  Mason could handle the ball some while lumbering down the court. Royce handles the ball better than any power forward, center in the league and better than a lot of SF's and Guards. WAY better than AB who I love. He sees things happen before they happen like Majic, Bird and Stockton. He is a flat out playmaker with the handles to get it done. And on the break he looks much more like barkley than Mason with strong finishing abbility. He isnt as wide as mason but he is just as thick and much more athletic. His shooting will improve with time how mush is anyones guess but he will get it better. On D you are correct, he likes to bang and bump and he reaches a lot. But with his strength and long reach he can take a bump and still be stable enough to strip the ball. He reminds me of AW the way he reaches for blocks before they even get the ball above their shoulders. he is also much more athletic than Walker.

you bring some good points. I could be wrong about white, as could the other 20 some teams that will choose to skip on him (bc of this tweener label). His game is def unique , but in both good and bad ways. The good are obvious, that he is like a pg but in a sf body. IQ is excellent. The bad , though is that, he is not a pg. In the nba he will not have the opportunity to have the ball in his hands as much as he did in college. Away from the ball , he struggles a little having avg quickness and doesn't work hard enough to run around screens to get open. On defence, its sort of the same thing. Footwork either needs to improve and/or his effort to want to move without the ball.
