Mickael Pietrus Hopes to Return to Boston

By HOOPSWORLD
Basketball News & NBA Rumors

Like (Brandon) Bass, (Mickael) Pietrus expressed a desire to return to the Celtics.

“Mike enjoyed his year there and I think he gave Boston a significant lift in the playoffs,’’ (Bill) McCandless said. “Obviously, the Celtics have to consider who, what, and where for their team. Does (Kevin) Garnett come back? Does Ray (Allen) come back?

“The reality is, Mike really enjoyed the season and he loves Boston, he really does.’’

Id love to have him back as long as long as he stopes falling down 4 times per game and actually runs to join the offense after getting a rebound or making a steal instead of standing in the back court watching... I seriously think he was still concussed during the playoffs, he was doing some some weird stuff.

I'm for this , especially if BASS doesn't resign.   Pietrus does have the CORRECT attitude, and willingness to play defense and guard the hardest matchups in the front court.

I think he is a good value and decent player and coachable. Likes his role as the spoiler and lockdown man .  Reminds me a bit of TA.

He plays decent at AWAY gmaes , not rattled by the moment or intensity.  I think he likes the pressure shots like PP

Please resign him.

I love Pietrus you guys catch him in the locker room postgame vid after Game 7? The guy was badly in tears he truly cares and left it all out there.
