Portland is said to be interested in trading it's 6 and 11 picks

Many options here but 2 would be Pierce, Bradley and 21+22 for the 6+11
Or get a 3rd team involved to take Pierce and Bradley goes to Portland

Using 6 we get John Henson
With pick 11 we take Rivers

Rondo, Moore
Rivers , pietrus
Green
Henson
Free agent/Steamer/Wilcox
Can't stop, Rondo!

I doubt that is the package that could land two lottery picks.

Besides, picking Henson and Rivers with #6 and #11 is reaching, there will be much better players available on the board. Henson hurt himself with poor draft combine and will probably go somewhere in the 9-15 range. Rivers is a late lottery pick, projected 13-18.

That's a pretty good deal from Portland's standpoint, but I wouldn't want to part with Bradley.

Garbage? Pierce, Bradley, and picks 21 and 22 are garbage?

Where did you see word garbage in my post? I wrote that IMO that package couldn't bring back two lottery picks. Which part didn't you understand?

I don't think Portland would be interested in Pierce.

They have said that they are not looking for older veterans and are instead planning on building a younger team that compete in the West for a long number of years.

They don't want to be rebuilding all the time. They are looking for a lengthily period of sustained success.

Very interesting idea.  I will offer what will likely be an unpopular alternative:

Rondo + #21

for

#6 + #11

Go into next year with Bradley as our starting PG.  We were 6-3 with Bradley starting last year plus look at Miami, they are in the finals with (in a Stephen A. Smith voice) Mario Chalmbers as their PG.

I know, I know, Rondo walks on water, but I would do this trade.

agreed i think danny should be looking at the raptors pick because they need more then just 1 player in this draft

Pierce, Bradley and our 2 picks for 6 and 11?  That's terrible imo.
We give up waayyyyy too much.

Henson and Rivers for Pierce, Bradley and 2 potential studs?

Even without giving up Bradley I wouldn't do that.....6 and 11 are not slam dunks.

Pierce RETIRES a Celtic. Don't kick your grandfather out of the house... kids!! Far as ROndo...  Maybe the first draft pick or about  12-15 total players in the NBA ( Lebron, Love, Dwight, Kobe, HArden , Durant , and few others..  ect are worth us trading off Rondo.   Really don't see DA letting him go unless it is for a "BIG" name star or the first round draft pick this year.  ANything less I would be shocked.  Backlash would be ruff on the mgmt and DA  to dump PP unless HE ASKES for a trade.
