I don't blame him.. He's looking for more money.. It'd be nice to have him back, but I think if we're spending on a role player, I'd rather go for Carl Landry..

Anyway, Thank you and good luck, Brandon Bass!

Kris Humphries would be my choice. Celtics need a beast on boards. Is it foregone conclusion Celtics won't bring Bass back?

Whether he starts or not I want humphries on this team for the right price..he's not much offensively but the guy is easily top 10 pure rebounder in this league

  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
I dont understand. I read in here that the biggest difference between Rondo and Westbrook was that Rondo could attract good players to play for us but Westbrook couldnt cause Wesbrook was not a true PG and didnt feed his co-players while Rondo did. What I see is that Westbrooks is in the finales; We couldnt convince David West to sign with us this year and Brandon is leaving.
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

This has nothing to do with Rondo not being able to attract free agents.  This is Bass feeling like he is worth than the $4 Million option he has, and taking a gamble on the market to pay him better than that.

Honestly, he had a pretty good season here, so I imagine he could get more than $4 Million per season.  He also mentioned his first option would be return to Boston if they are willing to pay him, but I don't know if I'd want to pay him more than what his option was for considering our biggest strength is flexibility regarding cap space.

Are you serious?
What has this got to do with Rondo?
Bass wants more money. He's hoping he can get a million or two more from us or even 7-8 million on some chump team with lots of money.
Really?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
