Leprechaun (Mythical Being) - The intelligence of these little green guys has also been widely accepted as near the top of the list among such creatures, as successful completion of their nightly duties requires them to outsmart humans on a consistent basis.
Mortimer McPestle, The Eutectic (Mascot) - Not much explanation needed here, as he is mascot of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and a representative of one of the most mentally challenging fields of scientific study in the world today.
Bruno Sammartino (Wrestler) - While most wrestlers have a rather, (how shall I phrase it?), "Duh!" mentality, Bruno was not of that ilk, and was known among wrestlers of the time to be of higher than normal smarts, as both his parents were very intelligent people, and he was and remains one of the most outspoken proponents for positive change in Professional Wrestling. IQ listed as 144.
Michael Phelps (Olympic Gold Medalist) - Phelps has not had his IQ tested, but he has ADHD, and contrary to popular myth, the majority of people with Attention Deficit Disorder are of above-average intelligence, and in fact often are mentally gifted individuals.
Vic Mackey (TV Cop) - Michael Chiklis grew up in Andover, MA, and attended the Boston University College of Fine Arts where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree, and is a huge Boston Sports fan. He is also an extremely talented musician who sings and plays drums, guitar and bass, and performs in a variety of different venues and live bands. His character in the Shield is known for his edgy intelligence.
Brian Scalabrine (Redhead) - Known for his high basketball IQ, we all here in the Boston area are familiar with the "White Mamba" and his unquestionable smarts for not just basketball, but things in general. (I could find no IQ test info for Brian, but our love for all things Scalabrine would make us blind to such things anyway ... he's awesome, and that's all we need to know).
