Funny: IP's Wylde Fluffabos Bill Murray, Funniest Guy in competition. No explanation needed.
Stephen Colbert, greatest living satirist in the whole world.
Andre The Giant, known for his warm personality and comedic nature. 'My Dinner With Andre' is actually a one-man show done by Billy Crystal, detailing how hilarious Andre The Giant was.
"André the Giant [who claimed to be 7'5" and 550 pounds] was very strong," William Goldman once recalled. "I was talking to an actor who was shooting a movie in Mexico. What you had to know about Andre was that if he asked you to dinner, he paid, but when you asked him, he also paid. This actor, after several free meals, invited Andre to dinner and, late in the meal, snuck into the kitchen to give his credit card to the maitre d'. As he was about to do this, he felt himself being lifted up in the air..."
"When he had me up in the air," the actor recalled, "he turned me so I was facing him, and he said, 'I pay.' Then he carried me back to my table where he set me down in my chair like a little boy. Oh yes, Andre was very strong."
The actor? Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Bill Walton is funny. If you don't believe me, read the
quotes I found below:
“John Stockton is one of the true marvels, not just of basketball, or in America, but in the history of Western Civilization!”
“Show some respect to this living legend, this hall of famer…Arvydas Sabonis.”
“The only way Danny Schayes is getting into the hall of fame is if he pays the $5.99 admission fee.”
“When I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven in the age of the romantics.”
“That was one of the worst passes I’ve ever seen, and certainly the worst pass in the history of the San Antonio Spurs.”
“Cuttino Mobley has just made the two worst shot attempts in the history of this proud Houston Rockets franchise.”
“I told Luke, you’re young, you’re rich, and you’re living in Beverly Hills. If you’re not having the time of your life right now, I have failed you as a father.”
“Yesterday we celebrated Sir Isaac Newton’s discovery of gravity, today, Fabricio Oberto is defying it.”
“I’m mainstream. Always have been.”
“Come on, that was no foul! It may be a violation of all the basic rules of human decency, but it’s not a foul.”
“Patrick Ewing used to be much better in every aspect of the game.”
“Tonight the Spurs look to extend their lead to 3-0 over the Lakers. This time, however, they will have to do it on the Lakers’ home court. Duncan and Shaq have been magnificent for both teams, but so far the edge has gone to San Antonio. However, the real story line that awaits us tonight in Los Angeles is whether or not Kobe Bryant will actually throw a pass!”
On Kevin Garnett: “He’s been working out in the off-season, on that incredible computer generated body he has.”
“Hey i’m for anything that keeps Charlie Ward out the game”
“The only man who can stop Cliff Robinson is Cliff Robinson. The man is unstoppable even at 38.”
“Shaq makes everyone else in the league look like Michel Tafoya.”
Walton: “That has to be a foul.” Snapper: “Against who?” Walton: “Against the game of basketball.”
“If they ever get this cloning thing right, we can only hope they duplicate the good guys. The last thing we need are more Shawn Bradley’s and Michael Olowokandi’s. Or more people with the attitude of Gary Payton or the confusion of George Karl.”
“You look at Vladimir Radmanovic, this guy is cut from stone. As if Michelangelo was reading and a lightning bolt flashed before him.”
“The art of tossing up the jump ball has really declined. These officials need to spend more time practicing in off-season.”
My explanation on how Raylan Givens is funny:
Any justified fans out there? I was thinking about this today: how is Raylan Givens funny?
I decided its dry, like a good steak. People always think of steak as 'juicy', but that's misunderstood. Good beef, great beef must be dried, allowed to cure, which makes them tender.
Raylan Givens is a dry humor, like aged bourbon, mellow, dry, but sharp enough to cut if you let it take you unawares.
Mos Def is pretty funny as well, at least more than any of the other rappers, aside from possibly Will Smith. Mos is a entertainer, not just a rapper, with a pretty robust acting career, with multiple guest spots on Chappelle's Show.
See General Cornwall Wallace:

Jack Kirby (my award-winning artist, former advance scout for allied forces in WWII...) helped create some of the greatest comic books of all time. Those jokes are usually corny, but they're funnier than Leonardo Da Vinci or Michalangelo writing weird love poems to interns!
Also, just for poops and giggles, I've got my two funniest guys riding animals, one is a Buffalo, the other is a FLYING DOG-DRAGON.
Jim Thorpe...Jim Thorpe isn't funny. BUT HE'S THE GREATEST ATHLETE OF THE 20th CENTURY!!!!!
