Since I'm not in the running for Toughest Team, (didn't vote for my own in this category, though I probably should have: Michelangelo frescoing 12,000 square feet of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, on his back for 4 years breathing toxic fumes and plaster dust, Scal, Tupac, Sammartino, Jefferson, Vic Mackey, etc.), I won't get into the Abe vs. Everyone battle, but he was clearly one of the toughest guys in U.S. History, (and could've sent Chuckie N. into oblivion, tied mercilessly to his Total Gym) ... a fun read supplied by IP on just how tough he really was:
