Milsap has one more year left on a very reasonable contract at 7.2 million. With the Jazz deep in the front court, I'm thinking that he might be someone they'd like to move (before he does so himself):

Wondering if Jeff Green and a first for Milsap and Raja Bell is enough.

Milsap is a perfect compliment to the team. Runs the court well, can hit an open jumper and is more than capable of scoring in the post. Think that's a beautiful compliment to both KG and Rondo.

And to avoid any confusion, I only included Raja Bell in this trade because I think he's cooked and the Jazz are goign to want to get rid of his 3.4 mil salary. Not because I think he'd be a useful piece.

Congrats on posting an idea that somewhat makes sense for BOTH teams. I think Green could be good trade bait, and Milsap would be a great addition for us. Green would fit in real well with the Jazz as well.

With Rondo, Bradley, Pierce, Milsap, and KG starting and using Bass as a 6th man, we look very legit on paper at the first 6 anyway. Still would like to see a legit center with length off the bench who can bang around with Milsap.

I can't imagine Jeff Green having any substantial trade value at this point.

The man has just had heart surgery. He won't have significant value until he proves he can come back from that and at what level he can now perform at. Until then, he's too much of a question mark.

I think if we were to make a move like this we would have to trade pierce for a big man and then assume the risk that Green will be healthy enough to start for us.

Danny Ainge was shopping Ray Allen around at the trade deadline for a young player and a draft pick.  I think Utah should ask for significantly more than that.

No way the Jazz can keep both Jefferson and Millsap.  I'd go a different route to get a trade done with them.  E'twaun Moore + #21 & #22 for Millsap.

I think they want to keep Big Al.  Millsap, different story.  They can easily replace his minutes with Favors & Kanter.  So why not get something of value now if Jefferson or Millsap walk ?  In a deep draft, and no picks (Golden State, Minnesota)this year, two 1st rounders give them value and then some.  Future cap space + two first rounders.  That's why the Jazz do it.

I love the idea of getting Milsap, however I dont see a trade where this happens.
