Bring them all back, sign Kaman and draft Austin.

PG: Rondo/Rivers
SG: Bradley/Allen/moore
SF: Pierce/Green/Pietrus
PF: Garnett/Bass/Johnson
C:  Kaman/Wilcox/Stiemsma/Williams

Basically a fully healthy Celtics team with the addition of Kaman and drafting rivers.  This team is very deep all of a sudden and can make another run next year. Also the celtics will be major players in 2013 free agency.

1.   Trade 21 +22 to draft rivers
2.   Sign Kaman
3.   Bring KG and Ray back on 1 year deals
4.   Bass opts in for 1 year
5.   Green and Wilcox re-sign
6.   Pietrus re- signs vet min 1 year
Pick 2 Heat:
Pg: Jennings/Vasquez
Sg: Wade/R. Allen/Rivers
SF: Lebron/M. Williams
PF: Bosh/Humphries
C: B. Lopez/Dalembert/Anthony

River is not worth 2 draft picks and he is not pg material
Kaman on the other hand is ok, but his salary is not

Though for some odd reason, I think Ray Ray will return.

Rondo
Bradley/Ray Allen/Pietrus
Pierce/Jeff Green
pf/Bass (Bass should not start)
KG/Wilcox?

I think we need to draft or sign a pf (or maybe JJJ will have an impact season)

austin and bradley would be alternating backup pg and sg minutes..Once ray retires austin steps into the sg role. i don't believe kaman would be too expensive.

I think that just bringing back a healthy Green and Wilcox would make a significant difference. Wilcox is another big, and a decent rebounder, and Green can create matchup problems while helping keep Pierce's legs fresh—and both can get out and run with Rondo.

I don't think Kaman is anywhere near quick enough to justify moving KG to the 4.  Need a more mobile 5 to give KG support, keep the team speed from slowing down to a crawl.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Kaman is just one of the more realistic centers that we can get and shoudn't be too expensive. Its not like we can pry hibbert from indy or waste money on mcgee

I absolutely agree with signing kaman for 2 years and a max of 5-6 mill a year to play with a contender. He needs a team and we need a center (kg hates playing the five and I'm assuming he's going to be very vocal about getting a center so he can move back to the four)

Plus a 3 guard rotation of rondo, Bradley, and rivers would be very versatile as Bradley and rivers can both play the point in spurts and you have a nice balance of offense/defense

If Kaman came here for an MLE type deal I would definitely say yes to that. He is a good body up defender even if he doesnt bang on the boards on offense much. I would like to see him next to garnett.

If Russel Westbrook can be a point guard, why can't Austin Rivers?  It's difficult to believe Doc hasn't shown him a thing or two growing up.  I can't see Kaman happening.  If we go after a big man, he should be 28 or younger.

Well, I don't see Russell Westbrook as a point guard at all, but maybe Austin can be one.
I come to think that Doc would really love to tutor his son as a Celtic and knowing that Austin has a pretty high ceiling (that's what some people are thinking about him, at least), it may be good to move up in the draft somehow and get him.
As for the bringing back of everybody, well, it's up to what KG does at first. Paul and Ray will react to his move and I won't be surprised if they all come back. In fact, I'd be glad to see them play in green again.

This.

Exactly. I'd rather pick Terrence Ross and even that is still a fair value for our 2 1sts.

I like the Kaman idea though. But no more than 2 years at around 6-7 mil.

TP! I'd rather have him for 2-3 years than locking up a young  McGee for 5 years. I also would like to vouch for Erden than either Williams or Hollins.

I want clarification on how much you're giving Kaman, KG, Ray, Bass, Green and Wilcox.  This doesn't appear to be financially possible.  Thanks, though.
