For fun: Rondo for Westbrook

I know this isn't legitimate because of salaries and whatnot, but hypothetically assume Westbrook was on the table straight up for Rondo and you held the pistol.

I prefer Rondo.  But, you're right, Westbrook is definitely legit.

Westbrook  is the better shooter/scorer and that's about it.  Rondo can affect a game from many aspects.  Keep Rondo--he's the type of PG that draws good players because he'll get them the ball whereas Westbrook's scorer-first mentality (particularly on a team with Durant and Harden) won't attract great players.

For fun you can deal anybody for anybody. For real, only a few celtic fans would not trade Rondo for Westbrooks. Are you aware of the way the Thunder broke down the Spurs and the way Westbrook broke down the Heat last night? Didnt you see Westbrook being unstoppable and carrying the team on his shoulders, along with Durant. Two players demolished the Heat. Rondo couldnt take his team to the finals. Rondo soesnt shoot the ball? Really? didnt he score 44 against the Heat? and still lost in spite of playing qith 3 Hall of Famers? How many times have I read in here that Rondo must go during the Summer. Didnt we try to trade him for Gasol?
Westbrook is in a league for himself. He is ions better than Rondo. Rondo is our best player- our leader, but we are not going to win numero 18 with him. Westbrook will win it this year with just another Hall of Famer with him. Please ger real accept reality. Thunder would not trade Westbrook for our whole team.
