I have been very impressed with this rookie.  The guy can
basically score at will like none I’ve seen besides All-Star caliber type players and he is only a rookie.  He can take you off the dribble, spot shoot, come off screens, you name it.

I wonder if NJ knows what they have.  I wonder if the league has taken notice or DAinge for that matter.  I wonder what would it take to get him.  Me?  I would trade one of my draft picks if not both and then change.  I think he is that good.  I think he is 6’5”, so would have to share minutes with Bradley at SG.  Or Bradley can play more PG and give Rondo more of a breather.  And then, you get your 3 guard rotation of the future.  He can even play some SF.

How interested are you on this kid?

He is definitely flying under the radar in my opinion.

This guy is the sure thing.

He's a WAY less athletic version of JR Smith. No thanks. Marshon is on a awful team and on any team someone has to score the basketball and it just so happens he's that guy.  ::)

Disagree with this.  He's a good athlete and will play defense, unlike JR.  Also seems to play with considerably more intelligence than JR and has an offensive game that includes much more than 30-foot threes and SportsCenter dunks.

Having said that, New Jersey already knows this.  No way they give him up for a couple of mediocre picks and change.

I'd love to get a hold of him, but I agree it would take some considerable bait to get him.

Here's the REAL question, would you go back and swap him for AB now that Bradley's shown his stuff?

What's his ceiling?  It's hard to know when you're on a team like the Nets.

That is a good question.  AB is good, but not sure,  I mean Brooks can really fill it in.  Danny are you reading this?  What's your take?  ;D

My guess is that Bradley's ceiling is higher than Brooks'.  His raw talent and physical tools translate better for a successful NBA career.  Clearly they both have their own specialties.  Brooks can flat out score at an NBA level, Bradley can stop you from scoring.

no way I trade AB for Brooks. He has the makings of a nice scoring bench player but AB will be much more.

I do want Ray Allen back, but I am severely tempted to root for Ainge to construct a roster that will give Doc no choice but to play Bradley at the end of games.  If acquiring Brooks would be an impediment to that goal, then I would say no.

Should have kept him instead trading him to the Nets...but who knew he would be this good. But if he play for a contender, like the Celtics, he would probably not play much this season. Nets was so bad, they was throwing everyone on the court. Even sign Gerald Green
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

No way and not close.  What is the fascination with Brooks?? Me first gunner with aversion to haring the ball and unwilling defender. AB is 100% the opposite. Is it because people saw a lit of him at PC?? He put up OK numbers on a terrible team. AB is MUCH more value. Should we trade Pierce for Gerald Green she we are at it?
