In case anyone was wondering, Festus Ezeli had the highest no step vertical reach, at 11' 10".  We need someone like that.

No Miles Plumlee did at 12'2. He also had the second best max vertical and is the fourth tallest player in this draft. He was projected to somewhere from second round to undrafted, but I think the combines will boost his draft stock greatly.

It might... but was there doubt there?  I could have told you, the kid can jump out of the gym.

Little else to his game but I don't see why he wouldn't be as good as Tyler Hansburough.

Quincy Acy was a combine superstar as well. I'd love to get that guy at 51 in the second.

Same standing reach as Moultrie, and higher max vertical reach than Drummond.

reminds me of a Reggie Evans/Ben Wallace type. Wouldn't mind him in the 2nd round.

Very agreed on those comparisons.  Again, his combine results aren't surprising, dude is just a physical BEAST.  Certainly worth a 2nd round chance.

Teague with a 40.5" vert, getting a higher max vert reach than Sullinger, and about the same as Sims and Nicholson.

Hopefully, hopefully that helps Teague move into the top 20.

Quincy Miller with a 36" vert is pretty good for a guy who's knee health has been questioned.

Same max vert reach as Ezeli and Melo as well.

At 220 pounds already at age 19, I'd say he's got great potential as an offensive minded stretch 4, with versatility at the 3.

He's got some Pierce to his game, and his handle would be a mismatch for most PFs defending him in the high post or perimeter.

Henson had an ankle injury, and stopped doing the athletic drills after he did the vertical jump.

Well that clearly affected his vertical numbers, those numbers are an aberration.  Henson is one of the most athletic players in the draft, the only explanation is the ankle.

This is some of his Kings workout from the other day, and he is definitely getting up on some of those dunks.

No step vert reach is probably a better indicator of shot blocking ability than running vert reach, and there we see more predictable leaders.

PJ3 is a freak, and yet he never blocks shots. Same with Moultrie.

Man, Harrison Barnes is more athletic than I thought.

If Charlotte passes on him at number 2, they better get MKG.

MKG projects as a high energy role player more and more. The only thing about him that can be considered exceptional is his work ethic and high motor. I don't think he's worth a top 5.

Percy Jones also up there with the guards on the sprint... dude really is a freak.  Worth a pick if he fell to us, tho I can't imagine it'd happen.

I think defensively he is pretty exceptional... that being said, I'd take Beal and Barnes ahead of him.  I think Barnes has been picked apart a little too much.  People go a little too crazy with bumping up or down due to tourney performance.  I think Beal will be the 2nd best player in the draft behind Davis.

Many, many mocks have Nuggets taking him at #20.

Is he really? Or is it his arm length that deceives?

You are looking at Max Vert Reach...I was talking about No Step Vert Reach.  One requires a step (Plumlee), the other does not (Ezeli.)

Either way we need a tall guy that can sky.
