In trying to understand JSmith’s value around the league, and why some Cs fans are so high on him, I first have to understand where would I rank him among the league’s Power Forwards.

Ok, so many people around the league don’t think too much of CBosh as a 1st tier Power Forward and so I was wondering;  Who would I call first if both were free agents.

I would call CBosh first.

Is JSmih better than Buzzer, Amare, Love, Blake, Aldridge, Mislap, Anderson, Nowitski, Gasol?  I mean, how low do I go before I say, yep, he is better than that guy…..

Ok, so he might be better than Bass...maybe  ::)

I prefer Smith because he is more athletic, plays better defense, is a better rebounder and a better passer. Although I expect people to disagree with one or all of these things.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Smith got injured and his team lost to us while Bosh healed and was a major contributing factor in beating us. This poll is skewed from jump.

Bosh -- much better offensive player. Smith has an edge defensively. I think they are probably about equal as rebounders.

CB is definitely a better all-around player.

However, Josh Smith's strengths are exactly what the C's are weak at, which is why he would be a better pickup for us (as long as he cuts that 3point stuff out).

I understand. didn't mean to skewed it and not just considering the last few games.  But I am still trying to go down the list and see who JSmith beats...certainly not LAldridge, Gasol, Love, Blake, Nowitzki, etc....

I guess he is an upgrade to Bass, if that's wha we are talking about.

If you look at the link it will tell you what he ranks compared to all PF's lol

Bosh, he's a more consistent player whose numbers are down because of playing next to Wade/LeBron.

I think people are looking at Bosh more because of what he did against us. That honestly was a fluke in my eyes lol just like lebron in game 6. I know Jsmooth is a better PF he ranks top 10 in 10 different categories at his position.

I have Josh Smith 8th amongst PFs behind Dirk, Pau, K-Love, Aldridge, Z-Bo, Griffin and Bosh. Millsap, Odom and Ibaka just behind them.

I generally argue that people here tend to overrate Smith, but Milsap? Really? Yikes. He's better than Anderson as well.

I started get upset with you for neglecting the big ticket.

Then I remembered...... Its still weird to think of him in the "C" bucket of players.

I take Bosh. He is a much better offensive player and more consistent defender. J Smith is very flashy but inconsistent.
