The Kings will shop Tyreke Evans for less. I read the other day they do not plan to option his fourth year after this year. He has to play out of position and he and Cousins supposedly really do not get along. Danny wanted him in the 2009 draft and I could see us making a real push for him this off season.

Not with Pierce though right? With a first maybe?

I'm genuinely interested in Tyreke Evans.

Links to these Tyreke Evans rumors? This guy was rookie of the year and averaged 20, 5, and 5 as a rookie. Only Jordan, James, Oscar and Tyreke have done that  I believe. He can't play without the ball but he can ball.

Can't see our picks being good enough to get him.

Bradley would have to be part of the trade I think.

Would suck to have to get rid of AB. Part of the reason I really like him on our team. Rondo + Tyreke + AB is basically our whole backcourt set for years to come.

But it really sounds like they're short selling Tyreke. I'm hoping something like one of our firsts or Bass + a first? (I'd hate to see Bass go but like you said, this guy is something else).

(There's a Bulls fan in the end suggesting they get him for bench scoring...really? Ugh!)

Edit: http://www.sactownroyalty.com/2012/3/2/2840310/nba-trade-rumors-tyreke-evans-sacramento-kings

Another source saying they want a "vet leader" type and that's it. Ray is going for the cash. (He said he "owe(s) it to (his) family to be ultimately selfish", understandable). Kings fans clearly want more (but we are giving them a first).

S&T is a possibility right? They overpaid Chuck Hayes if I recall correctly so I'd imagine their cap situation is bleak.

Edit 2: http://www.sactownroyalty.com/2012/3/2/2839308/tyreke-evans-for-rajon-rondo

Check out the comments. Always nice to see Rondo being respected around the league.

I think a first + Bass + something else (Jajuan?) would be reasonable. Or a first + Ray.

Though I'm torn because on one hand AB+Tyreke+Rondo is perfect but on the other I love all of our players. But if Ray wants money I'd do the Ray+1st for Tyreke in a heartbeat. Or even Jeff Green since they need a SF.

If KG isnt coming back then I would look to trade paul for a top 10 pick. This may seem like a high asking price however teams seem to be sick of cellar dwelling and teams like GS and Sac maybe willing to give up on more youth for a proven leader.

Sacramento won't trade Tyreke for Pierce.

Pierce is too old and their team is too far from winning. Plus, Pierce is very unlikely to report to Sacramento (since it's such a bad team).

It would take KG deciding to retire/go elsewhere, and Pierce and Danny agreeing that the best thing for both parties is to move on, so Pierce can go to a more grind it out, veteran team (perhaps on the West Coast), and Danny can build the next generation, which might require a step back.

Nothing......because DA would never do something that dumb .   He'll either play for the Celtics or retire.   Few people in any sport have that oportunity or worth to remain at one club.

Eh, I am not sure anyone other than Cousins is really a "core" piece (Thornton might be, but I am not sold on him).  I think they had young guys who were producing because someone needed to produce.  But they aren't actually good basketball plaeyrs.

I would rather blow it all up
except for Pierce, Bradley, Bass, Daniels, Dooling and Pietrus.

Gone: Rondo,Garnett,Allen,Jeff Green,Wilcox
Johnson,Moore: unimportant.

The only way to unlock massive trade value
is to trade RR.

I saw Tyreke Evans + 5th for Pierce. That would be tough to turn down
I'll take before you can say, "Sacramento".

However, it doesn't work, unless we also take a contract back, e.g. Outlaw. And I'm afrad we will be the ones dishing the picks here.

It would take KG retiring.  If you want to bring back KG, then you have to keep Pierce.  If Pierce is traded, I don't think KG re-signs.  I believe KG would view trading Pierce a sign of disrespect.
