Count me amongst the group that doesn't understand the obsession with hating Lebron. If Lebron wins a ring I won't upset and certainly won't be making silly accusations that the league is fixed and that Lebron winning a championship was all a part of David Stern's master plan.

To answer the OP's question I won't be cheering for Lebron but only because I like the Thunder and how they've built their team from the ground up through the draft.

Trust me this is bad for the NBA. The way LeBron is chasing a ring, it is REALLY bad.

If he wins one, most superstars will find ways, and push themselves to team up with other superstars even if it's to the detriment of their former team, just to win. Competition would be gone, we'll have 8 super teams and the rest are just win fodders.

PLus on the fans take, the NBA would be boring. Gone will be the days where we'll ask if "LeBron will ever win one" and ridicule him for failing. Gone will be the days of every team wanting to beat the Heat so bad because of what LBJ did.

He should not win a ring, at least not yet. Maybe when he's 33 years old. He'll win one eventually, i just hope he won't for the next 3-4 years.

How good would it be for Mr. "not five, not six, not seven" to lose his third Finals to Kevin Durant at his first time of asking?

Oh, and there's Perk, also.

I never want James to win a thing.

nope, i cant see how anyone can root for this Heat team...a bunch of entitled/cheap-shotting/whining children.

everything about this team is just fak to me...the huge celebration with the fireworks, not 1 not 2, 3, 4, 5.. the making fun of Dirks cold

im not sure how Lebron has matured "I dont foul out, I know the game of basketball" really Lebron?

The Heat are an example of what is wrong with the nba...3 superstars playing ISO ball

NBA championships are supposed to be EARNED...it shouldnt be "hey let me join up with my friends and beat up on anyone because I DESERVE it."

I hope Durant and Company take them to the woodshed...and show that a team built from the bottom up through drafts/trades is better than 3 superstars just saying "hey lets join up together"

I want Lebron to have a good finals and win.

I am sick of the same story year after year about Lebron.

And I want the Heat to feel overconfident and have the let down after winning a title versus coming back even more focused on winning a title.

I wouldn't mind LeBron winning it because I am sick and tired of the same story every year and the same excuses every year.
I just wish him and Bosh were on a different team because I can't stand Wade, the Heat and their fans. Their bandwagon fans annoy me and most of all Wade annoys me with his recent antics (rolling on the floor like a big baby over a call for example) and dirty play in the playoffs.
Since Wade and that fanbase will win it with him I'd rather see OKC win.

I say no, although I'd be happy as can be to stop hearing the whole "LeBron can't win" argument.

durant is basically the Anti-lebron...doesnt act arrogant, isnt too full of himself and plays in a small market.

I would like to watch a small-market team built from the ground up through drafts/trades beat a hollywood-type team in Miami built by 3 "buddies" deciding to team up.

honestly, I think OKC destroys miami in 6

I can hear the song Oklahoma now. A great state with that rarely makes the News will win this Series. Wade and LeBron will suffer from Perk in the Paint. If he gets a foul they will wear it on their bodies. Not these love touches like the Celts give.

I would grow sick of the heightened Lebron hype even worse then it is now though too. Either way the media love of Lebron is just sickening. Lebron is a good player but it is too much.

This.  I found it funny how Van gundy kept trying to downplay all the hate on Lebron.  "I dont get why people hate this guy".."It's been a year, its time to move on".  Oh...  I dont know...maybe your network that's been hangin from his jock strap since he was in high school had something to do with it?

The Lebron james we saw in game 6...not the scorer, but the focus, is a Superstar.  The Lebron we've seen throughout his career, is a boy trying to live up to the hype.  When he's focused and goes out to play basketball and not try to manipulate the game, he could be very Jordanesque.  As we seen in Game 7, he can't replicate that becasue he's not used to being that way.  He needs to start givin two rips about his craft and not how many endorsements, posse's, referee kisses he can accumulate.

Never.

The Heat are going to be a good team for a while, but Wade is already on the decline.  One can only hope that DWade completely falls off next season and they're stuck with a 20 million dollar handicap for the next few years.

Lebron and Wade never deserve to win a championship together.  They do not deserve the satisfaction of ever winning again.   I hope they spend their rest of their lives wondering if they made the right choice and why they couldn't ever win.

Well, Stern sure hopes so.

I don't.  Ever.

You see him at the press conference along with wade wearing those ridiculous Eugene Levy glasses.  They look like idiots.
