Why would Rondo stay around to shake lebums hand when that d bag hangs on the rim for 5 seconds and takes a kick at Rondo without getting a T for it?

I completely understand that especially KG and Rondo will take the loss harder than anyone.  I said in the main game thread that I was disappointed they didn't at least stay to the end to at least say good game.  No way do I think the need to go hug and embrace everyone, but I just think that you win with class and you lose with class.  I think rushing off to the locker room takes away from the effort and heart that they showed.  Sports is more than winning.

haha, ok at least this response was funny.  TP for you!

They were probably just both afraid if they touched Lebron they would get another foul and maybe a fine for a flagrant 2.

If you just saw the clip of the heat acting like straight bozos in their lockerroom...then you would see why they left early

Some of this stuff is so overrated in my opinion. I really don't care if someone shakes hands.

LOL shaking hands overrated, Boston is not without it's share of Morons.
 No name calling.

Well Lebron and Wade do act like children sometimes when they don't get their way...So maybe children rules do apply.

the heat look like a bunch of 5 year olds in that clip, it should be downright embarrassing for heat fans and the NBA in general. I felt ashamed myself to be watching the NBA after seeing that

I can't even stomach to watch the Heat celebrating. I hate the Heat more then anything and what they stand for. And hate the fact that the way they play beat the Celtics. They are individuals vs. team.  OKC HAS to take them down.

Its fine. Players like KG and Rondo who don't like any one that isn't wearing the same uniform need to walk off after a game like that to cool off. Its that or they punch players from the other team.

What Ray and Paul did is cool too, they are the level headed guys, they say congrats for the team and walk off.

To the people that are saying its classless, need to wake up, this could be KG's last game, and to go out like that was tough, especially in Boston were players like Russell went out on top. I think he just wanted to be alone for a few minutes. The same with Rondo.

Look, I get the feeling inside to walk away. I get when you feel like something was stolen, and doubts about yourself, and honest, unbridled hate that remains.

I've played sports my entire life, some at a pretty high level (though not nearly as high as it and rondo), some I was pretty darn good at, and still lost in.

You shake hands, you be a man and congratulate the victor. That is what lies in the essence of sport, and to those who say 'you get it or you dont', you don't get it.

We as fans can hate the heat, can hate Lebron James. But, we can do that because we're fans. KG and rondo are peers, and fellow combatants. It's different. You either get it or you don't.

And if you want to look to the Heat's reaction as justification, I think it's a false reasoning. The pride and behavior of a man, whether winner or loser is not decided by the reaction of the opposition. We make our own honor, the lack of honor or decorum from and enemy does not justify the same from us.

This... I was absolutley fuming at this no call. In the end it probably wouldnt have made any difference in the overall game. But its the fact that they blatently ignored a rule of the game because it was Lebron

He was clearly able to come down after 2 seconds but decided to hang there and then kick out at the end. Then he had the nerve to go complain to one of the refs that Rondo did something to him.

Probably said something mean and nasty or breathed on him knowing lebron. or got too close to his personal space. Complains like a 4th grader.

And that said, it's a tiny, but regrettable slight on kg and Rondo's part, and doesnt define them as players, anymore than it defined Lebron when he did it. It just isn't ideal.
