17-4 run by Miami in the last 6 minutes.  Wow. Just out of gas
Happens when you dont use your bench. For futher elaboration, see 2010 finals, game 7.
Yup, I mean our bench is absolutely fantastic... ::)
Quis was a starter in his prime. He was a key in one of our wins (3/4?) when he got a shot.

my fingers will fall off for typing this but the Heat outplayed the C's the last 2 games.  sad to see.  so much like 2010 again.

infuriating that this team was so horrid in game 6 when they should have played their butts off to end it.

Bosh was huge for them and so was their bench.  pity we didn't get much from ours.

Danny's task for next season---get healthier players for next year.  no more having to rely on guys who are end-of-bench types to play big minutes.

The Heat got called for their FIRST fourth quarter foul with 1:48 left to play. Is this a joke? I can't believe this is being called "fair" basketball.

I swear this whole thing was rigged.

How does a veteran team with so much talent not even show up AT HOME in game 6?

And in game 7, the officiating majorly one-sided, combined with the fact that the Celtics showed absolutely NO FIGHT after they went down 5 with four minutes left.

You are suggesting the Celtics tanked on purpose in game 6?

I'll tell you what, I sure was skeptical.

The Celts didn't play great in Game 6, but that loss was all about Lebron hitting ridiculous jump shots all game long.

Is it classless to hope that somebody dislocates Wade's elbow in the last 28 seconds?
God no. Listen to yourself. Was it classless to hope Hitler choked on souerkraut?

Comparing Wade to Hitler???

Way to keep it classy!

I feel bad for you guys because I know how many of you irrationally hate lebron James.  I sympathize with you guys but I'm genuinely rooting for the heat in the finals.  For Seattle and because I truly appreciate lebrons ability ... Boston gave it their all.  Proud of my boys but this was inevitable

Yeah lets root for the biggest front-runner the league has ever seen and his dirty thug sidekick.

Enjoy the finals, cause apparently this series was a win win for you. Keep on bleeding green...

Man I wish there was a way to block certain posters.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Brutal, brutal loss in this series, but so much further than they could have been expected to go.

The fact that we were playing with cast-offs and spare parts like Marquis and Stiemsma and Hollins, and how Allen and Pierce and even guys like Pietrus had so many injuries and gave the Heat such a tough time...it really says a lot about the job Doc and every single guy on this roster did.

That 40 foot 3 that LeBron hit was a killer, as were all of Bosh's. Truthfully we probably could have got to the line a few times as well. But these Celtics exceeded my expectations this year, and they've been immensely fun to watch and root for.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

I am not gonna blame the refs because they executed horribly in the final minutes and went away from what was working, but um...LeBron had 17 FT attempts to the entire team 15.

Yeah, I'd rather see Miami win than OKC too.

I don't think they will do. OKC should be the favourite. More talent/balance on their team.

Lebrons ability aside.  This group, I wont call them a team..bought there way to a second striaght finals.  We didnt help, but no one can tell me there isnt some shadiness goin on.  How someone can get behind a team that needs the refs, the network, and the league to bail them out is beyond me.

I think Bosh was not injured at all. He got some nice rest in for a couple games. Makes me angry to think that but ut seems like it.
