The crowd was SIMPLY AWESOME.

PERIOD. :)

Anyone who was fortunate to go to the game should pat themselves on the back.

Very Tough loss, but we still have a game 7.

We'll play better.

Haha, wow we have some great fans on this blog.  Most of you are superb.  But this guy, cmon, move over to the heat forum if that is all you got.

Celtics will give max effort in game 7.  We'll take our chances and see what happens.  I will never count us out.

We are tied at 3-3 in the EC Finals.  The series isn't over.  You think KG, PP, Rondo, and Ray and our team thinks its over?
Why don't you go tell them that.  They will punch you in the face. haha

Series is over.

THey choked the **** out of the basketball tonight.

Sad ending to the Big 3 era. Ray wasn't good, but he was the only one who wasn't terrible.

It was cool, no doubt.

However, I can't lie - almost felt like Celtics fans saying "goodbye" to the Big 3 era.

Nah, more like saying; "Go win this on Saturday.  We're still here."

very sad indeed. games and chances like this do not come often folks.

Game 7 in 2010 of the finals will forever haunt us i feared at the time. GOD knows when we will not only be in a finals again but be up ON THE ROAD in the 4th quarter by DOUBLE DIGITS.in a game 7..and we BLEW It.

no reason the big 3 should not at least have 2 NBA titles.

Some of the best HOF'ers and some of the greatest teams to do it walked away with zero. Two would be a nice send off, but the one they very much earned isn't exactly chump change. And you can't predict very integral setbacks. As far as the current version of this team, they're competing with a lot of heart and grit overall and I'm proud of what they stand for regardless of the results in game 7.

I just don't understand why people have such a problem with opposing opinions.

Winning Saturday would be a tremendous feat. I'm a bad fan for not believing they'll win?

Come on. They crapped the bed tonight, and will likely lose Saturday. Face it. That's reality, not being a bad fan.

I love that crod and I wish I could handshake each and everyone who stayed and chanted till the end.

While the reality is this could be the final home game I the season, I'm very thankful for the people who stayed.

It was an off night for everyone, and it couldn't come in a very bad time.

Game 7, backs against the wall. This proud bunch won't go down easy. We'll win Game 7, BOOK IT!

Disagreement is cool, but I disagree with your sentiment.  I don't think it's likely that we'll lose on Saturday.

This is one of the nights where you wish you could take away TPs from fellow Celticbloggers...

Sad night, silent crowd most of the game, but the few, the good who remained to cheer the team made history once again. This is Celtic Pride, and everyone who is saying we don't have a chance should think about what this crowd showed there. Celtic Pride.

Go Celtics!!!

One -- the crowd was not silent. In fact, during the player introductions and the first quarter it was as loud as I have heard it in the Garden. Even in the third when the Celts tried to make a run, the crowd was there. But, after each Lebron bucket, it got quieter. And, I was not surprised. The team was never really in the game tonight and it was hard to build on anything.

Well the odds are against us. Can we at least agree on that? This is far from a good situation.

I loved that so much and I know the players did too.
They've taken the fans on an amazing run this playoffs and have done things many people never expected to happen. Really who would have thought besides some fans that this team would be in a game 7 against the Heat when they were supposed to be demolished (that's what the media said). This loss has their backs against the wall and as underdogs again. I expect for them to come out and play with much better effort and hopefully they can take that.

I personally believe every bit of negativity funnels down to make an impact.  I know it sounds crazy, but it is what I believe.  I also believe if you are a real fan, that you don't give up on your team.  Call me crazy, but that is how I feel.

This team has bounced back so many times, and played some great games on the road.  It isn't out of the realm of possibility that they take game 7.

If you really think the season is over.  Fine you are entitled to your opinion.  The rest of us are entitled to tell you what WE think about it as well.

I have a feeling game 7 is not going to be this lopsided. Even if LeBron scores 50, 60, 70.

And I had a feeling Boston was going to win tonight.  ::)

Crowd made me proud to be a Celtics fan. Now it its up to all the players to step up. Will be disappointed with anything other than a complete team effort.

haha yes, I can agree the odds aren't on our side.  The odds weren't on our side to win game 5 or win 3 in a row.  In the end I don't really care about the odds because we have at least one more game, and a chance.

I don't want to make anyone feel like me, but it is shameful to me for us as fans to just give in.  Oh it is going to be hard, they can't win.  Give me a break.  Can you imagine what KG, PP, RA, Rondo would say to that?  You guys should be embarrassed of yourselves.

I don't usually put myself out there like this, but I've got to say that I like Boston's chances in game seven.  I may very well just be a crazy homer, but I think these two teams have shown to be incredibly evenly matched.  And, I actually think that the intangibles favor us.

I'm not here to call James names or anything right now, but everyone's going to be expecting the same performance from him in game seven or the expanded media will be calling him out in full force again.  That's a lot of pressure, especially after what he did tonight.  Now, if he comes through like this again hats off, but if he starts feeling that pressure a little bit in front of the home "faithful," Miami's fragile make up could re-surface.  Our veterans will know how to seize that opportunity.

Anyway, that's what I'm hoping for.  I'm sure the odds will be heavily against us by the folks who set those kinds of things for a living.
