LOL.  I'm pretty nervous myself.

Someone hold me.

I've been drinking a truck load to calm my nerves this whole series but tonight I may need a bottle of ****s to go with it.  ;)
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Yup, trying to keep focused on work to avoid getting nervous so early.

I'm more excited than anxious.

Once we get into the 4th quarter and start to see the inevitable slipping of the double digit lead I'll start to get nervous.

Wouldn't a game like Game 6 of the `08 Finals be nice for the old nerves.
Yup

Me too! We need to win tonight. For Rondo's elbow. In the words of KG let's do this!
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

It's "show your Celtics pride day" at my office and people take it quite seriously here so there is no taking your mind off it for me.  My gut tells me the Celtics will win, unfortunately my gut doesn't seem to be much good at evaluating basketball.  My gut has predicted the outcome of every Celtics game incorrectly so far this postseason.

I think the C's NEED to close it out tonight.

I'm very anxious.  I'll admit that at the start of this series some part of me was just looking for a moral victory, like don't get swept, get it to at least six games, if we are going down to these chumps, at least go down fighting.

Now, my mentality has changed.  Now we have a good chance to actually win this and get to the finals.  Now, I'm nervous.  The moral victories have been accomplished.  Now only a real victory will do.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
My heart was pounding out of my chest during the free throws at the end of the game 5, I really would love a blowout to not have to go through that again.

Me too. I've been anxious, excited and nervous all in one since last night. I just want this game to get over with to see if they will be EC Champions or going to a game 7 (which I will hate and will stand with a passion).

I don't feel good about tonight. I still don't trust this team in closeout situations. History has shown C's are a poor closeout team. I got Heat winning game 6 and 7. Hope I'm wrong  :-X

If my memory serves me well, KG led Celtic teams are undefeated in close out games at home. Go Celtics!
