where the hell is our crashing the boards after a MISSED JUMPER???????? we have no rebounding whatsoever. we need bigmen this offseason who can dominate inside and the boards. yeah, i'm not happy right now with this performance.

I hate to see all the turn overs, Rondo you need to be more patient my friend.  Wait and watch and attack to the rim or make the great pass when it is there.  We are giving away way too many possessions.

If we can limit the turnovers and just crank up the D a bit, we will have a chance.  LJ won't go for 60 on us, no way no how.
Would have been better to get below 10 for 1/2 time, but we knew this game was going to be a struggle.

Keys to 2nd half
-stop the TO's
-crank up the def pressure on everyone
-get PP involved early in the 3rd, make LJ exert energy chasing the truth

I know this isn't looking good, but I'm not giving up yet. Lebron is having a remarkable game, but he's also making the Heat into the 2010 Cavs right now.  If Lebron goes for 60 but no one else gets involved, I like our chances.

The biggest stat difference right now? 3-pointers.  They're 4-9 and we're 1-7.  That stat evens out and it's a 1 possession game.

Calling it now - this is gonna go like a repeat of Game 7 in 08, with LeBron dueling Rondo instead of Pierce.  And the same result - LeBron gets more points and loses the game.

maybe...but i don't think boston is pulling this one out tonight.

why not?
Yup

Rondo 7-10 FGAs and 5-7 FTAs for 19 points. Even if you add the 5 turnovers, 7-15 FGAs, he's still playing pretty darn good out there.

5 assists, 2 boards, 3 steals to go with the 19 points.
Yup, he needs some more help other than Bass though.

Let's hope this series continues to follow the Spurs/Thunder narrative.

Spurs don't have Lebron James. We are toast. Its win or go home for the Celtics. Zero chance they win game7 in Miami

I think the C's still have a fair chance of winning this game. Miami has a nice lead but their play isn't sustainable. This game is very much up for grabs.

And even if it goes to seven, Boston are fully capable of winning it in Miami.

Refs have nothing to do with this. All about turnovers, rebounding and Lebron playing like the best player on the planet.

agreed
I don't know looks to me like everything's favoring the Heat, Pierce up fakes gets man in air it's foul side out LeBron does the same he gets 2 free throws just BS

Regardless of the series outcome, this team has given me far more than I expected. I will be sad, but not disappointed if the lose the series.

I really don't want to see a Lebron vs Rondo scoring battle.

Rondo's more likely to have less points and more assists than Pierce did, but I think both of them are gonna put up eye-popping stat lines when it's all said and done.

But I don't care how they get it done - just get it done fellas.

Didn't realize Michael Jordan was playing. The guy who was 6 for 6 when it mattered.

Bron is unlikely to keep this pace.  If we just continue playing hard, shooting 50% and protect the ball... we might find ourselves tied at the end of the 3rd.  We are only down 12.

Then again... we might just get blown out.

What's up with the Celtics losing when Rondo has huge scoring nights.  Clearly better off when he's distributing and his teammates are knocking them down.

Rondo taking a lot of shots and not getting a lot of assists stems from the rest of the team shooting poorly. Rondo scoring isn't the problem, it's things like Ray and Paul contributing nothing on offense.
