Stop forcing passes and stop forcing threes...

Terrible

If this offense continues into the second half, say goodbye to this series.

-Jamman

Because Boston can't win in Miami...

Right...

I wonder if the C's have the same mindset...which would be why they're playing the way they are.

Not too worried
  • LeBron is 12-14 FGAs for 30 points
  • The rest of his team is 9-25 FGAs for 25 points
LeBron will slow down and his teammates aren't doing enough offensively to make up for that. They will be vulnerable in the second half and give the C's a large opening.

I think Boston will make a run in the third with a fresh Paul Pierce leading them on.

Boston does need to do a much better job creating possessions and avoiding turnovers though. Can't afford to be out-rebounded 21-14 and have 9 turnovers in a half. That is unacceptable. That won't the job done. Reverse that and they'll be in good shape to win this game.

There goes the idea of keeping it under 10.  If Bron wasn't absolutely destroying us by himself we'd be praising Rondo for carrying Boston right now.

he's made a bunch of awful passes though
Yup

For the record, that was a clear offensive foul on Lebron (called on kg).  No question about it.
Yup, was coming down and just karate chopped him with the ball.

Seriously, what the **** is wrong with these refs? There were two uncalled kick balls in the first half, and at least one uncalled travel, not to mention the various bull**** fouls called or not-called.

Stern wants 7 games and more money. GreeD!

Trying to force ball movement when he doesn't have a shot.

this ref crew is abysmal

LeBron is playing like MVP, but with ref's help, of course. He hasn't scored 40 because he's not that good at the line. But the amount of 50/50 calls and straight bs calls they're getting is ridiculous.

The good thing is Celtics are playing "turrible" all of the first half. So if they start playing like they should, they'll win 5 on 5 or 5 on 8. No doubt in my mind.

By the way, someone has to punch Wade on that squirrel face. He's just disgusting. LeBron gets a lot of criticism, but he's the only two-way player on that clown band.

Go Celtics!!!

Refs with a subtle but huge influence there in the final minutes. Creating a 6 point swing at the end of a quarter is the kind of thing that turn a lead that would be easy to erase into one that requires herculean effort and stellar defense.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I'm reasonably certain that LeBron isn't going to go 12-14 again in the second half...

WE shot 50%.  They shot 53%.  Still have a shot... but nobody dare say LeBron failed his team... he's carrying them right now.  Someone found a cheat code.

Spurs don't have Lebron James. We are toast. Its win or go home for the Celtics. Zero chance they win game7 in Miami

Refs have nothing to do with this. All about turnovers, rebounding and Lebron playing like the best player on the planet.
