Just a reminder - my team is better than yours. I'm Dibiase, you're Virgil.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
And actually I stopped being bored when I found this:

http://deadspin.com/5917834/goldust-stays-in-character-at-toys-r-us-more-wrestler-run+ins

Have you read the Virgil one from last week?  That guy sounds like the saddest human being walking the earth.

Jeez, I started to read it and got depressed. He's a sad guy.

Man, I feel sad for Virgil. Really.

But doesn't he get paid by diBiase a ton of money?

All joking aside, that's just really sad to see him appear in conventions and not even one dude recognize him.

I don't know if it's a matter of people not recognizing him, as it is a case of him being, ya know, Virgil.

This might be th case. I mean, hes basically Million Dollars Man's human shield. He's not a big superstar.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Okay, I'm gonna count up the votes I've got in so far, and I'm gonna then talk about other peoples' teams with an embittered sense of disrespect that only Virgil could match.

A lot of my reviews are going to start out, 'One time in 1996 me and Rondo's New York Knicks were at the Ruth Chris's in San Antonio Texas....'

So, obviously, this discussion lends itself to the following question.

If your historical draft team was an 80s or 90s wrestler, who would it be & why?  And you can't use the Brooklyn Brawler.

I picked him for an ultimate draft as well.

Quote
He officially turned heel at the Boston Garden on March 18, 1989 still known as Leaping Lanny, he berated Hulk Hogan and stuck up for Randy Savage in his poem. This was a mere two weeks before WrestleMania V. His poems now ridiculed the face wrestlers, and he now behaved in an even more effeminate manner to infuriate the crowd. During the match, the Genius would construct a mathematical equation that would tilt the balance of the match in his favor.

Because, like he did in WM 3,  my team will steal the show.

Not that he represents anybody's team, but my favorite wrestler of all-time:

The tragedy involving him and his family caused me to quit watching wrestling.

My team is much like this man;  technically sound, can beat you many ways,  but not afraid to get dirty (and throw the occasional cheapshot) all while looking good.

So far we've got 6 GM's and 1 panelist.

Just saying now, if all 4 remaining panelists dont get back to me with votes, I'm going to just weight the panelists who do vote as equivelent to 4 or 5 GM's, depending on where they have the Spurs.

If the vote was sent to me, its been processed.
