OK with  bringing back Steimsma and Bass to play off the bench.  looking forward to seeing what JJJ can do after summer league and training camp.  KG makes a fine starting center in this league.

C's definitely need a PF/C that is a rebounding machine because that player isn't on the roster.

bye bye Hollins and Williams.

i want Spencer Hawes or Kris Humphries.

thats what i want and i dont care what anyone else thinks!

Hawes will be overpaid. And apart from random spurts where he plays, well, not at all like himself, he generally stinks.

Humphries has been consistently underrated and underpaid for the last couple of years. How the hell is somebody who has averaged a double double the last two years getting paid so little?????? And he's just now entering his prime!

Anybody who reads enough of my posts knows I'm obsessed with wins produced, but I'd just like to take a moment to point out that last year I believe he was a top 10 player according to that stat, and I think this year he's top 20. A seriously, seriously underrated player.

bye bye Hollins and Williams.

Hope you're wrong about Sean Williams.

They did give him a two year contract. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nba/1378/sean-williams

He'll only be 26 this fall. Would like to see what he could do with a training camp under his belt.

I think we should definitely keep KG at Center next year but we absolutely "must" bring in a legit back up for him who can play.

And signing a real good rebounding defensive PF would be key as well.

I would be very happy with the following backups, in order of preference:

Center:
KG / Hawes or Asik or Aaron gray / Steamer
Lavoy Allen or Illyasova or Humphries or Carl Landry / Bass / JJJ
Pierce / Jeff Green / Pietrus
Bradley / Ray / Marquis
Rondo / Goran Dragic or Kirk Heinrich

Couple draft picks..

I guess you're not a Moore fan.

We need a big man that can make a significant impact on our front line. Stemah, hollins, and JJJ arent going to do this. Wilcox could be a nice addition to our bench, as well as Bass. But im looking for a legit big along them lines of Kaman, Hawes, and the pipe dreamy Hibbert (major pipe dream)

Hawes would be a fine addition, would Philly allow him to leave?

76ers fans seem to hope so.

Hi Clover, actually I am a big fan of E'Tuan Moore I was just more focused on the big man rotation.

I think that kid has a chance to be a very good long term back up combo guard in this league - he's a heady player with solid all around skills and I'd like to see him in our long term plans as 2nd / 3rd line combo guard.

If I could put together my ideal off season, it would like this:

Center:
KG / Asik or Aaron Gray / Steamer
* Asik or Aaron Gray because I just think Hawes or Kaman will come at too much of a premium and I'd rather save the money for someone more worth it at the center spot.
* I like Asik's athleticism paired with Rondo and I just like Aaron Gray's size - I think he'd do very well on this team putting in all the bunnies that would come his way. Also, he not afraid to hit people.

Power Forward:
Illysova or Humphries / Bass / JJJ
* I think Illysova would benefit from Rondo a lot - I like Humphries in the open court with Rondo

SF:
Pierce / Jeff Green / Jeffrey Taylor (21st)?

Off guard:
Bradley / Ray / Pietrus

Point guard:
Rondo / Dragic  / Moore

22nd pick: A big man at center ;  I Like Ezeli, Maybe Nicolson or Melo???...

I'm just not sure where we're going to fit everyone in, maybe we trade both picks to move up and take one new draft pick.

So again, I like Moore as part of our guard rotation for sure.

I really like the idea of adding a guy like Dragic if possible - because he could step in and start if Rondo was injured and at 6'4" he can also play some off guard along side of Rondo in spurts, putting a lot of penetration pressure on opposing teams.

I think Williams will be given every opportunity to stick around. That's been a little bit too much for him to handle up to now...but it's the concept of acquiring undervalued assets...its either now or never in terms of him growing up so why not.

Am really hoping KG returns.  This team right now is a train wreck defensively without him. With him they play top level NBA Team D.

Like pretty much everyone else, I'm hoping KG returns—without him Boston's team D stinks, so hopefully in the next year or so the Cs can find someone to be KG's heir as defensive anchor.

Some people have floated the idea of bringing Perk back, but I'm not sure what I think of that.

Hollins can go; I love his energy, and he is a bit disruptive to the opposition, but the dude's 7 feet tall and can't rebound or block or score (other than on lobs), so he's mostly a negative.

I hope Williams gets a legit chance to prove himself. I realize he came on too late in the season to be of much use in the playoffs other than in an emergency situation, but he looked pretty good to me in the last couple games of the regular season. Seems to have great potential to be a disruptive defensive force who can also rebound and run with Rondo.

Steamah has earns his stripes, and I'm eager to see what he can do after a summer off to heal up and a full training camp (and continued tutelage from KG!).

For most of the regular season I viewed Bass as a real steal, but now I'm having doubts about bringing him back. His rebounding is average at best, and he's still blowing a lot of defensive assignments, which is a big no-no at this point in the season, and his one standout quality—the midrange J—has mostly been M.I.A. I guess I'd be fine with bringing him back as a sub.

I'd like to have Wilcox back. He seemed to be hitting his stride right as news of his heart ailment put him on the shelf. He's a better rebounder than Bass, and more athletic, and a great running companion for Rondo. A solid bench guy.

I also hope JJ gets a legit shot to prove himself, and that he can become part of the rotation.

So I guess I'd like to see Boston pick up a solid starting PF to pair with KG at C; whether they do that through the draft or free agency is moot. Boston's frontcourt needs youth, athleticism, and rebounding, so whatever fills that bill works for me.

C: KG/Steimsma/Wilcox
PF: Player X (FA or draft pick)/Wilcox/Bass/JJ
SF: Pierce/Green/Pietrus
