Broussard is on WEEI whining right now. ;D

  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
Why cant Broussard and others hate the Celtics when we thrive on hating the Lakers, Heaters, Lebronesr, Kobeiers, Gasol, Melo, etc. and everybody else that have given us  hard times in the court??
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

Its more that he's a Lebron lover.

In 2010 when the Celts were up 3-2 on the cavs they polled the usual espn guys asking how many more wins the Celtics would get in the postseason and he was the only one who said 0 because he said he thought the Cavs were going to win it all.

Im sure he absolutely thinks (or hopes) the heat will win it all this year.

He was literally squirming in his seat when Magic was trashing the Heat during the postgame

He was just on WEEI

Broussard just said that the c's are still not winning anything this year. Said they aren't even a great team and would have only been a 6th or 7th seed in the west , so the heat had everything set up for them to get to the finals easy, but are just blowing it .

He pretty much just said the c's no shot against SA or OKC in the finals .....

Keep talking Broussad

Oh wow, I wish I would have heard him spout this non-sense.  Seriously, after what we have done in this series to say we have no shot winning it all?  C'mon man that is just dumb.

I don't have much respect for Broussard.  After last nights game he basically over-reacted like an emotional heat fanboy saying that they should break up the team.  He is so biased it is borderline unprofessional.  No one has won this series yet.  Save the over-reaction for when it actually happens (hopefully Thurs night hahaha)

Looks like you guys beat me to it.  For the record, Broussard sounded p---ED when discussing the heat.  And without prompt, he absolutely said the Celts weren't winning a title this year.  Wasn't even asked the question.

Broussard and Steven A Smith are the  Sheila Jackson Lee 's of Sports

Celtics haters for all the wrong reasons.

I'm not a fan of either steven i smith or broussard...But they aren't racists.  While wrong a lot on basketball...They're at least both understandable.

I'd say jamele hill is a much better comparison to lee.  They're both racists incapable of constructing a coherent thought.

Smith is like a character actor.  He sounds nothing like steven i smith when he's not on ESPN.

The fact that Jemele Hill writes about issues revolving around race does not make her a racist.  That's quite the claim you are making.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=hill/080623

It's truly hard to put this incoherent article into words....

http://espn.go.com/espn/commentary/story/_/page/hill-111108/steve-williams-remark-tiger-woods-stinks-racism

Perhaps jamele should dig deep into her imagination and create something out of nothing...And then malign Woods for doing the opposite.....

lol...If the illiterate one can somehow....In her thymbol-sized mind equate Celtic fans with Hitler publicly...It stands to reason to wonder what kind of incoherent sharptonesque thoughts go through her mind privately.

The illiterate one sees no excuse for William's comment...I guess I don't either.   I would tend to take Woods at his word on this...Much ado about nothing.

However....I see no excuse for ESPN subjecting their audience to this blithering idiot...

I read both of the articles and still don't see any indication that Jemele Hill is a racist. I'm in doubt that you understand what the word means.

Yeah, I don't see it either.  You may not like what she said, but it's not racist.

From the second article by the illiterate one:

If Steve Williams is bold enough to tell a room full of people that he wanted to shove Adam Scott's WGC Bridgestone Invitational win up Tiger Woods' "black a------," then what does Williams say about Woods in private?

I think it's a fair question. Williams was among his peers at the caddie awards in Shanghai when he added that biting racial qualifier to express his utter disdain for Woods, who fired him in July. So I immediately wondered if what Williams says about Woods in private is even more candid, even more venomous and, yes, even more racial when he isn't in a crowd.

This is how the two most prominent poverty pimp / race baiters, jackson and sharpton, have made their living for decades.

Inject racism and race into as many situations as possible.  Even if you have to speculate..To bring attention to yourself.  As the illiterate one did when she "immediately wondered".

That is the definition of a racist.

No it isn't.  The definition of a racist is one who believes that certain races are inherently inferior to other races.

None of the people you mention have ever claimed to believe that.

The tone of Broussard's voice and the fidgeting in his chair during the post game was comical.  :)

Well, C18..You and I have different definitions of a racist.

My definition is somebody who benefits from race baiting.

I may be a bit naive....But I believe human debris like Robert Byrd and David Duke, scum who overtly see certain colors as inferior, are either dead or extinct.

I see that in hill...who injects race way too often in her commentary and articles in an attempt to draw attention to herself.

-----------------------

Broussard, with his commentary, has put all of his eggs in one basket.  If the messiah's team doesn't at least get to the finals...Broussard will lose what little credibility he has...He'll probably disappear until he can do his draft / trade insider rumor silliness schtick.

True.  But I believe hill is a racist.  Her commentary is always over the top, but it often takes a hate filled turn when dealing with white athletes and a much softer view of black athletes in near similar positions.

I don't think Hill is a racist, but more of a black apologist and blames white society for why black people's problems. Its obvious there is racism. But accusations are like "I missed the bus this morning, i'll blame white society"

There was a topic that was brought up on ESPN First Take where she said the hate for Lebron for the 2010 Decision show where he bolted to Miami was because of racism. Because a black guy who wants to play on a team he wants, white people are mad about it. That was so outlandish and ignorant. I'm black, but I  can't stand Lebron James, and hated what he did with the Decision. It was an embarrassment and had nothing to do with race
