What's the beef with Al Jazeera?

Please tell me it's not something related to them darn dirty Moooslim Terrorists.

I trust Al Jazeera more than Tim Donaghy.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

They'll have the 1st pick after tonight...David Stern can't wait until 2 teams from NY are contenders...He should just strut out to the court like Vince McMahon used to strut to the ring...it's all the same really

I'm confused, what's with the hate of Al Jazeera? Are these people who wanted Romney to be their governor the ones who dislike it?

Over the last year, Al Jazeera has had much better reporting on what's going on in the USA than any American news outlet, and I'd rate it above the BBC too. Not saying much because the mainstream news is, as it was said, patently false.

As one should expect most news outlets to be misreporting, I fear underreporting far more. Every story is biased, that's what makes it a story. Journalists don't try to be unbiased, they just try to be true to the story that they saw. The real damage is done by news organizations that don't report on important events. Al Jazeera will at least touch on important issues.

But for something reliable, these days you need to go to the ground. Youtube, livestreams, blogs, independent media, always fact-check, and cross-reference.
