Miami selects Nate McMillan.

Love it, fits great off the bench especially in this league.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I think I crashed the forums. I tried updating the player list with all of the players from both rounds today and when I hit save the forums went down. Sorry and if anyone is using the player list, it didn't save and I will get it done tomorrow.

I still haven't figured out what year for Westbrook, but I really like how my team is shaking out.  Very happy with my picks today as I think I got great value with a 17/12 center and a 30 point per game wing.

PG - Rose, Westbrook
SG - Pierce, Stackhouse
SF - Johnson,
PF - Malone, Bosh
C - Bynum, Seikaly
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Thanks so much, IP! (TP)

Greatly appreciate the help ... today was another nightmare.

They seem to come in bunches, but I'm happy with my third-choice PG, (Strickland & Jackson were 1 & 2), and my first choice 2-3 swingman.

Besides, nothing could change my good mood today after last night's win, or my pride at having green blood!

One game at a time, boys ... go Celtics!

You being in the medical field might know more about this Bahku, but you might want to have that green blood looked at.  Could be a virus or something.  ;)

I might not be able to join in today. I don't time for a list but its ok bc there isn't anyone I'm dying to get. Meaning there are several id be happy with choosing later tonight.

Anyways just know it's cool with me that I'm skipped when it is my opportunity to pick (I don't mean allotted time slot here). So if this thing is moving ahead of schedule and it comes to me then skip me and keep moving on ahead of schedule.

I will make my picks asap later tonight if I can't join in while the draft is going on.

Good luck and let's hope we take care of business tonight.

18!!!!!

I've had all the tests, and it seems I have a rare case of chlorhematosis from exposure to an excess of Celtics-related propaganda, (it enters through the optic nerves, tympanic membranes, and esophagus) ... I'm under strict quarrantine until 830P tonight, as it's highly contagious, and there is yet no cure. Despite all the precautions taken, they expect a wide-spread epidemic in the hours and days following tonight's game. God help us all!

Game 6 here we are folks.

I don't get to pick until later.

Let's close this deal and bring on OKC.

By the way, as suggested by the great Roy H. I have all players except GHill  and Ewing on te block. Will listen to offers, later.

I really don't get your Ewing and Smits lineup and think it will hurt you a great deal against most teams as they have no where near the speed to play against most of the PF's in this thing.  So any advantage you get on offense you lose on defense.  You should look to move Smits for a PF.  Just my thoughts.

Rather than just leaving 'bump' I posted this in the how's my team section, and I'll repost it here because I make some landmark points:

In defense of Marbury:

Obviously, the guy is/was a knucklehead. In fact, and I've mentioned this to a few other people, that he's such a knucklehead that it completely outshines what really was a very good career, for a fairly extended period of time.

Check out these assist numbers:

Quote
Assists
1997-98 NBA 704 (4)
1998-99 NBA 437 (2)
1999-00 NBA 622 (10)
2001-02 NBA 666 (6)
2002-03 NBA 654 (3)
2003-04 NBA 719 (1)
2004-05 NBA 668 (2)
Career NBA 6471 (21)
Career 6471 (21)

Guy consistently scored 20 ppg, pretty great range, and was consistently a league leader in assists. He was a dynamic scorer, and one of the most inventive passers I've seen.

Keep Penny too. That troika will work exceedingly well together. The rest are changeable.

Personally, I'd get rid of Glen Rice and look for another PF to go with PJ Brown. A skilled PF (to contrast PJ's defense/rebounding skill-set). I don't like Glen Rice in these Historical Leagues. He is too limited a defender/rebounder. You have more than enough offense elsewhere. You don't need to sacrifice your defense and rebounding for Rice's scoring output.

I don't like Rik Smits and Patrick Ewing starting together. I think it's a good lineup combination that you should go to on a regular basis but not as a starting unit. I'd like to see more quickness and defensive pressure from your starting PF. I think you have a chance to have a very good defensive team with Ewing anchoring your defense alongside three long active perimeter guys (Christie = PG, Penny = SG, Hill = SF) and probably PJ Brown at the four.

Then bring Smits in as a offensive weapon off the bench (and a game-changing weapon at that when coupled with Ewing).

I like my chances with the 89-90 Ewing. Although I am looking into tweaking the lineup, I'd stick with it. 89-90 Ewing isn't bad when it comes to his mobility. Sure, he's not as fast as most PF's. But at least his taller and he can back down about against them. On the offensive side of the ball, yeah good luck trying to stop him.

But you're right, I need to move him back to C. But I don't mind him playing 4 at all.
