Oak is a guy we all probably wanted, but a guy I think could've waited a round or dos.

Great part of a great team, but maybe a bit early, especially with the gap at the 3. Gonnna need a very talented player there, a guy who will really help you move the ball and stretch the floor.

I value Oakley about as much as Horace Grant.  Both are great glue guys on excellent teams.  Oakley in particular brings toughness and elite-level rebounding, along with very good defense.  I think he's the type of guy whose impact goes way beyond statistics.

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER... AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!

KP / Giannis / Turkuglu / Jrue / Curry

Good luck with that ... though most GMs would admit that it's a worthwhile trade-off, (another Oakley-type player, opposing teams just don't want to see him on the floor).

I'm the same way, putting guys with good stat lines together #1 doesn't always work, and #2. Isn't as fun as figuring out the fits of multigenerational players

Sprewell may cause Ron Ron to go crazy. That was reason #875 to draft him.  ;D

Fit and how a team meshes is huge. I'd say balance too. Defence, rebounding, playmaking, low post scoring, outside shooting. Some teams imo have done a better job of this so far.

Funny who we're talking about ... Latrell, Horace and Charles were all near the top of my list today, (and a couple others who were taken) ... all under-rated and over-achieving, IMHO.

I'm glad you got someone from your list after not being able to make it to the draft in your spot. I had a few guys on my wish list today too and Horace, JO and Oakley were on that list. Good job all.

Thanks, TZT ... yeah, a lot of "intangibles"-type guys taken today.

Amazing how much talent there is left, though I notice that with each round, more and more come down to perception and personal preference.

Every one of these teams are like "Super Teams", and I'd love to see them competing in real life.

I really enjoy thinking about all these combinations, and how these teams would perform realistically.

That's what has hooked me into this fantasy stuff, and I guess that's really the point ... what could be, what could've been.

It's pretty cool, and a lot of fun, (though my girlfriend just does not get it).

If my fiancé knew just how few people really cared about these drafts, just how much time I devoted to it, she'd drop my phone in the bathtub out of sheer frustration.

I tell her it's a big deal to a lot of people and try not to be too specific.
