Really pumped I was able to trade up and grab Marc. Big body Center with pretty good one on one defensive skills ( lacking in P and R a bit but that can be remedied later) great passer and a good counter balance for Dirk.

C: Marc Gasol
PF: Dirk
SF: Reggie Lewis
SG: Vince Carter
PG: Chris Paul

I like it.

That's a pretty well balanced starting five.

It is, but I really like my chances (in at least the 4 matchups where I have players).

Thanks for making that pick

Yes, I do like the fit of my team at this moment

PG  Williams
SG  Ray

PF  Love
C   Howard.

Lots of space to run the offense.

Need to add a defender that can knock down the open shot and I will have a complete offensive/defensive lineup.

I'm sure a decent amount of people are feeling that same way right now.

So I should expect you to steal my guy for the third time in the next round?

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Sooo....

Steve Nash
Michael Finley
Scottie Pippen
Elton Brand
?

What now? Did I make the right move going for Finley or should I have gone for Bynum/Gasol, or even somebody else? Did you like the Finley pick? Too soon?

Thanks..I had another person in mind, but I'm picking him on Monday.

I have elite D at the G and PF spots, but I didn't want to pidgeon-hole my team with too many of one thing.

Michael opens things up for me, and demands attention from any opponent's best defender.

Not that they will stop him :).

He doesn't play defense, but you've got all the D you need in KG, Yao, and Chauncey.

The 1999-2000 Mike Finley was a very good and well rounded player. He hit threes, grabbed boards and even dished out over 5 dimes a game. Not to mention he is a very good fit with Nash because of his athleticism and ability to finish above the rim.
