Have to figure out which year to use for Russ.  Had a more efficient year last year, but seems to have his head on a bit more straightly this year.  Decisions, decisions.

And I really wanted Drazen.

If any of you picks my guy I'll spend the rest of the draft writing F&B fan fiction include a rizzoli & isles crossover episode called "Franklin & Bash & Rizzoli & Isles"

I messed up Bahku's pick, went from an earlier list. If anyone saw the initial post, fugeddaboutit.

Was looking at ak47, myself. Some remarkable seasons mixed in there, would make for a great bench guy in this format.

Bahku selects Andre Kirilenko.
Big fan of the Kirilenko pickup. I think AK-47 is a better version of Josh Smith.

I'd be tempted start him at PF ahead of Amare (and/or LJ) alongside Dikembe. A lot of big talented staring PFs though. Makes me a bit hesitant ... but I think Kirilenko is a much better complement to the other starters and, even though he's undersized, Kirilenko is still a better defender than Amare (or LJ). Hmm, not sure. Very tempted though.

Edit: Oh wait, that's a lot of power forwards.

Kirilenko, Amare, Larry Johnson and Charles Oakley. Probably have to keep Kirilenko at the small forward position. Less excited about that. I have long thought Kirilenko is a much stronger player at the four than the three. Still, he'll be a nice bench weapon.

I think I will keep the same type of PG for my bench to keep consistentcy.

Dallas selects

PG - Russell Westbrook

That's the guy I was shocked was still available. I thought Westbrook should have gone much earlier.

A great 1-2 punch with Derrick Rose. Can continue attacking non-stopping from that PG position.

This is the first steal from what I was hoping for, not too bad it took until the 7th round. This is a lot of talent for a 7th round pick.

I, and I think everyone else, considered Westbrook. Just couldn't get my head around it fit-wise. As a bench player, he's beautiful. Could even see him at the 2.

Yep my turn and now I have to change it up, sorry for the delay. Chicago will select some muscle of the bench (not sure of the year yet).

Yo, nobody tell Kane it's his pick because I'm terribly afraid he's going to pick my guy. Just let the time expire.

Johnson played the three very successfully as well, though he's a bit wider than the typical SF.
