  • GOT IT!!!
I think Philly should be proud. They gave a good account of themselves. Not their best, struggled too much offensively for that, but a good showing. One heck of a tough series. Their defense was very very good. Perimeter D was top notch.

Hopefully, it'll be another step up the ladder for them and they can build on this and make it to the next level over the next few years. I like that squad. I hope they continue to grow.

TOUGH team that is. Collins did a great job with them this season.

  • About five seconds after 17 O'clock!!
Really proud of this team.

Start of the season the average prediction seemed to be an exit in the second round. I bet the Heat aren't thinking we're going to be easy beats.

4 wins from the finals.

I don't know how we'll do it, but where there's a will, there's a way.

Let's shock the world.

The ERA has been extended.  At least 1 more series.

I think the key against Miami is to remember that we need 4 good games to take the Heat.  We don't need 7 good games, only 4.  We will look ugly at times, but we CAN pull this off.

1 more series at least, but we've got to be about 2 games away from extending it to next year. I just can't see us blowing it up unless the Heat absolutely dismantle us. If the series goes 6 or we win, how can Ainge justify blowing it up?

That was my prediction at the start of the season, second round exit.  I'm happy to report that this team has officially exceeded my expectations. :-)

I actually never want to play Philly again. Ever. They're like a pitbull clamped on your calf.

This.

Well done 6'ers.

The Celtics are taking their talents to South Beach!!

Time for a new avatar anyone?
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Good work finishing off the Sixers.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

I wonder how many will give some credit to Ray for those two huge 3 pointers in the 4th quarter when the team really needed it?

Ray Allen needs to be put out of his misery and write this season off until he gets surgery. DOC PLEASE PLAY PIETRUS! Ray is KILLING us not playing ANY D and can't be any wider open and is shooting straight bricks! SIT HIM DOWN!!

had to do it  ;D

but no, it was really frustrating, but he didnt play bad defense. i really dont understand that. He played well, there guards were 7-26 combined and Turner 3-8. and Ray had the best +/- from either team.

I agree with the offense, he has been really bad, but his defense IN STRETCHES has been pretty solid. Except for some bad  moments.
