It seems like every time they make a run Sixers come right back.

The Celtics have been going to the rim a solid amount this half too, they just aren't getting calls.

Good God, I would have attacked Monty McCutcheon by now. That crook is trying to single-handedly keep Philly in the game.

Don't tell Rondo. We need him against the Heat. ;)
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

It's so hard to admit, but as frustrating as this team is to watch, tonight has been about Philly just not giving up.  The Celtics make a big shot, go on a small run, you think "ok, here comes what we've been waiting for"...and Philly comes right back with a basket or two of their own.

They're fighting.  And if the Celtics aren't careful, they'll take this win right from underneath us.

Judging by this series, maybe it's best we exit early rather than being completely outclassed by the likes of Miami.

We've lost the war of attrition.

the single biggest improvement the C;s have made in this game that's kept them ahead is the gang rebounding.  many fewer offensive boards for Philly tonight

Watchin this quarter brah? They have 3 already.
question is, are YOU watching?  All C's are swarming the defensive boards this game.  wasn't happening in this series until this game.

Not hating on you man but they're grabbing these boards by a thread, a la that Young FT almost getting knocked right back to him.
not hating on you either 'brah' but the point I'm making is that instead of just KG and sometimes Bass on the boards, they're all in there going for it and as a result Philly has gotten many less O boards than every other game this series.

and RAy for a 3!

I appreciate the group rebounding effort as well. It's just still not yielding ideal results. They have 12.

And good for Ray, I love that guy as a person.

p.s. sorry if you didn't like me calling you brah, brah.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Allen gets worn out on this board, tonight without a shred of evidence, as Roy notes, and Rondo does no wrong. Ever.

Amazing.

EXACTLY!
Causing turnovers left and right and stalling the offense with his excessing dribbling
Not to mention his lack of a jumpshot makes the Sixers play 4 on 5
Agreed Allen isn't the problem but to be fair Rondo gets crucified on here as well

I'd rather get swept by Miami then lose a game 7 at home to an 8th seed who you could've and should've swept.

as much as I'd hate to pull PP right now, it might be good for 2-3 minutes to keep him available for the end so he doesn't get knocked out on a stupid foul/bad call
and there we go   >:(

that's a very very weak statement. Do you want me to count the negative threads and posts about rondo?
