Allen gets worn out on this board, tonight without a shred of evidence, as Roy notes, and Rondo does no wrong. Ever.

Amazing.

Hollins in = Philly comeback.

Doc Rivers = clueless.

:-X Makes me sick, watching him make stupid decision after stupid decision. I thought it was the coaches job to put his team in a position to win?

That Iguodala breakaway play reminds me of game 7 2008 againt the Cavs, when Lebron stole a lazy pass from the Celtics and dunked it

  • You say when......
Boston has NO idea what to do when the Celtics double Pierce.  This is a meltdown right now.

Doc needs to call a timeout and come up with an adjustment.
It's been killing us this whole series them doubling and it's on Pierce for not splitting it or Doc for not making the adjustment.
a smart coach would have guys move to make them pay for that double......it is still 5 on 5.....!

two points for Philly: fast break lay up

two points for Boston: Wildly difficult buzzer beating jumper.

Not a good formula.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I think if you're Philly, you are delighted for the score-line to be pretty much even heading into the fourth.

If you're Boston, a wasted opportunity. You're the better team and you had 48 minutes to prove it. Squandered the first 36, only 12 left now.

4th quarter, game 7, in Boston... This game is ours!!!!

This is what happens when a team doesn't really have an inside game. Constantly fluctuating between great to bad.
We need an inside presence for next year.

Philly came back because we cannot make a jump shot.

Which, one would think, would produce more dribble penetration.

Of course, as this series has shown, we don't think the game well enough to make that connection.

come on DOC give us a chance take RAY OUT!! pot SOMEBODY else ,  even Dooling would be better right now.

Sometimes I wonder if some people on this board understand the game at all. If you think Ray is not contributing, you are not watching. Is he lighting it up? Obviously not, but he is playing good defense out there. I cannot believe how much crap Ray takes from you guys. I would love it if he wasn't hurt either, but he IS hurt and even so he is pushing it on defense and helping keep this game going our way.

If the Celtics lose, it ain't gonna be Ray's fault.

True it is Docs fault for playing him too much hurt.

The Celts are +12 with Ray in there (best on the team), and -11 without him in the game.  The Sixers are going on a huge run without Ray in the game.  It's very, very hard to pin this on Ray.

Of course, it's a team game.  But Ray has had the worst game of the C's starters.

Not his fault.  He's playing on a bad wheel.  But his underperformance combined with Bradley's absence has eliminated almost all the production at the 2-spot for this team.

Bad third quarter. Lost the halftime lead.

Really bad.  Philly has to feel confident that they can out-hustle and out-shoot the C's in crunch time.

People give Steamer a hard time but that mid range jumper makes teams pay for doubling.
