Their fastbreak transition has been awful tonight.  There's been at least 3 times this game where they have a 3 on 2, 3 on 1, etc. and come up empty.

Pierce has to be the all time leader in stripped ball turnovers.

This lineup with KG instead of Hollins is who should be on the court in the 4th. Doc will put Ray back in and sit Pietrus around the 6 min mark and that's going to make this a close game. I can only hope that the Cap'n continues his hot shooting.

come on DOC give us a chance take RAY OUT!! pot SOMEBODY else ,  even Dooling would be better right now.

Sometimes I wonder if some people on this board understand the game at all. If you think Ray is not contributing, you are not watching. Is he lighting it up? Obviously not, but he is playing good defense out there. I cannot believe how much crap Ray takes from you guys. I would love it if he wasn't hurt either, but he IS hurt and even so he is pushing it on defense and helping keep this game going our way.

If the Celtics lose, it ain't gonna be Ray's fault.

Combine that with the 4 1st half blown lay ups and we've lost about 14 points.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I think Ray has been effective on D. He is fighting to stay with quicker guys but he's  been recovering well for the most part and keeping with his guy.

Doc's right, big stretch here.  We need some separation going into the 4th.

Time for our bench guys to make some plays...

Ray is KILLING us not playing ANY D

That's just not true.

You can't believe this Roy. Ray is a statue out there on D and it's frustrating  >:(

I'm honestly not sure what you're talking about.  Ray has hustled on D all night and has played good defense.  He's guarding younger, more athletic, and bigger players, and he's doing it pretty well.

Which Philly perimeter player is lighting him up?  Holiday is 3-for-11.  Turner is 3-for-7, AI2 is 2-for-6, Lou Williams is 1-for-3.  If Ray's defense is horrible, nobody is really taking advantage of it.

Also, the Celtics are +12 with Ray in there tonight, so again, he's not getting burned.

Turner just scored consecutive buckets against him.  Holiday had multiple successful possessions against him (creating quality looks for others or himself in isolation against Ray).

3-26.  C's behind the arc in Games 6 and 7.

Last time C's had this kind of a drought it was one Keeyon Dooling who snapped us out of it.

Ray is not playing good defense at all. But I appreciate the horde of people coming to his defense.

True it is Docs fault for playing him too much hurt.
