I was gonna save my 1000th post for when we finish the 6'ers off but I feel like we need this...

DON'T STOP BELIEVING

This team has done amazing things. No Bradley? Sure, it'll be really, really tough. But when Jeff Green/Wilcox/JO/Ray went down, everyone kept saying we were done. And, man, were they wrong... this team just loves making naysayers look like idiots.

No matter what, regardless of the outcome, we'll come out of this loud and proud. This team has heart.

I love this team.

Sure, they can beat Philly... Miami? Sweep.

It's funny, because at times this season I got really emotional after a big win because of the "grit and balls" this team showed... Lately? I see nothing. I see limited effort. I see no emotion. I  see no heart. I see crap. I never thought I'd see that from this group.. I guess they spent it all on the regular season

It would be a bit ridiculous for anyone to give up because of a road loss.

The away-home-away-home part of a series is a good time to identify the bipolar Chicken Little fans. They switch from panic to over confidence as games switch courts affecting the outcomes.

Unfortunately, I can only give out one Tommy point at a time.

I see no reason to stop believing now.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

The effort and heart is fine. The legs just aren't.

I tire of fans pointing to the mystical "effort" excuse when a team loses. Effort won't make Ray's missed 3 fall. Losing Bradley hurts since he is a much better defender on Holiday. Effort isn't enough for guys to have Bradley's lateral quickness on defense.

Our team is mentally fragile, unlike the Sixers team who won't go away.

You can see the team "pressing" in Game 6 and they did stuff that they normally do not do.

Tp for a good thread. This is better than the numerous threads spewing "celtics are doomed and global warming is upon us since Bradley isn't playing."

Things are tough for the celtics, but they will certainly beat the 76er in game 7.

If if if the celtics play Miami next, it will be tough without Bradley, but still possible to win. In that series the celtics MUST be consistent, not up and down ala their current series.

Go celtics!  :)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I feel the same way. We have lost soldiers all year long. Just brush it aside and keep playing. We still have Rondo, KG, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce. I still firmly believe in us.

we can still totally win game 7.  We're a jump shooting team and chances are we'll shoot better than we did in game 6.

Then if we face Miami in the next round, we might luck out and play them without Bosh.  Hopefully Wade continues to have issues as well.  We really couldn't have gotten an easier path to the finals than the one we're getting.  We're extremely fortunate.  Shame we aren't healthy enough to take advantage of it... but we really can't whine about health at this point.  Fact is, a healthy Bulls team or a healthy Heat team would own a healthy Celtic team.  Honestly, I'll take it a step further... I'm not sure our team had the size to deal with a healthy Atlanta (with Horford 100% the entire series) or a healthy Orlando (with Howard).  So let's just count our blessings and hope for the best.  I can't be mad either way.  Lucky for us we have all of the "big 4" playing (even if they are all banged up).  Frankly, this is further than I saw us going earlier this season.  I'm proud of the old guys whether our journey ends at the hands of Philly in Game 7 or OKC/Spurs in game 4 of the finals.  It's been a fun end of an era.  Hat's off to Kevin Garnett for carrying us on his elderly back this far.

.

Everything in that commercial was true.

Everything? so you expect a BIG win in game 7, right? I agree.

By the way, great commercial if the Celtics don't buy it. Rest will be huge for our banged players.

Go Celtics!
