They were talking about Orlando this morning and the cleaning out of front office and when this comment came out.

If the Heat lose in this round, they are exploring offering Wade and Bosh to Orlando for Howard.

Where they got this rumor, I don't know.

Are there any legs to this rumor, I don't know.

Just throwing out what I heard on the radio this morning.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
If you're Orlando and you're committed to trading Dwight Howard, it's almost better to get a little less back to ensure he goes out West and you only see him once a year.

Don't think there is much meat here.

I think it's pure speculation but if I'm Orlando, I make that deal.  Howard is a cancer at this point.  Bosh is still a top PF in the game.  Wade is still arguably a top 5 player and wouldn't have a conflict with another superstar that replicates his skills.

add them to that roster with a decent FA big man and that team does some damage in the East next year.

IMO, Miami actually gets a bit weaker.  They're a top-heavy team talent-wise right now and they'll be even thinner on talent afterwards.  Dwight isn't the scoring option that either Wade or Bosh is so Bron will be back to carrying most of the scoring load.

I doubt it has legs.. Yet. I gurantee if the Heat were not to get back to the finals you'll here about somebody getting traded. Me leaving here in south florida I think that would be insane, but would be a good deal for the Magic. You get wade and bosh for a big man with not to many moves in the post and a bad back at a young age. (Not saying I wouldn't take Dwight) but if thats the best offer you could get then go for it. I know heat fans would be somewhat upset if it happened because they love wade down here, Hell I used to like Wade but not since he's turned as a player, something different about him. But do I think something like this has legs no not yet. But I think Orlando showed dwight who they want to stay more between him and the coach/gm.

Yeah I think that's Orlando fan/sports host speculation.

Howard still has a lot of sway over where he goes based on his ability to not sign an extension, I doubt he'd want to go to Miami to play with LeBron.

I'm skeptical about how the depth would work out, but the improved cap flexibility depending on what other salary they took back would make it easier for them to fill in the rest.

There is no way Miami trade both Bosh and Wade for Howard, though I do think they will look to move Wade this summer if they don't win it all.

I can see LA sending Pau Gasol to the HEAT for WADE.....

LA fans would love it....Heat fans would be less thrilled. But , I think it makes both teams better.

I think thats a great trade for both teams. Howard instantly changes the outlook of your team from a defensive stand point. he also averages 15 rebounds a game. Hes a guy that can change the complete culture of a team. Wade and James doesnt work well together and Bosh is really not great as a third wheel. I think both sides win huge with this deal.

Miami would need more in return for Bosh and Wade than just Dwight by his lonesome and Orlando have very little else to offer.

Can't see this trade idea happening.

my thoughts exactly, I could easily see something like Wade, Cole, 1st for Dwight though and that makes sense for both teams as well.

Sign and trade Anderson?

JJ Redick and Big Baby?

There is roughly a difference of 15 million between the salaries next year of Wade and Bosh vs. Howard.

It might take Bosh with Wade because of Wade's injury issue and that Howard is still the 2nd best player in the NBA.

Howard just had back surgery. His injury concerns are just as bad as Wades now. Hedo, Howard, and a first for Wade and Bosh? I don't like it for Miami. Plus Kevin Durant is better then Dwight Howard now.

Really?

Give me a list of reasons and I'll show you a injective mapping to the natural numbers.

This is not Wade's first injury.

This is Howard's first injury.

And Howard is still a better player then Durrant.
