Deep down we all know it. He's just too good not to.
Sorry, I think you're wrong. Lebron has a bad team. It's too reliant on him, Wade and Bosh doing it all. That will not work against some teams, and Lebrons game doesn't carry all that well into his older years. As he gets older, he won't be able to, with that size, keep playing the way he does on fastbreak, long rebound opportunities. And once Lebron is no longer as capable of that kind of incredible speed, which, with his size, probably won't be very long, his window for being able to will teams towards championships will decrease.
Here is the secret to Lebron. Force him to have to be the guy. Don't bail him out with fouls because you THINK he's going to score if you don't foul him. There are times when you should foul him, but some teams don't seem to understand that, or do it at the right times. Teams that do that properly, and there are a number of teams that do, can beat Lebron led teams.
He can be defended without fouling him. Force him to have to make the tough play. You don't necessarily need to stop Lebron, just deal with the rest of his teammates. If Udonis doesn't have that surprising 15 points yesterday, they lose the game.
