So many idiotic turnovers on idiotic passes.  Never seen this group make this many dumb decisions.

Did the refs give lou williams a ladder, call all the players off the court and let him put it in the bucket.  Williams went off and Iggy stepped up.  We couldnt match it.  It sux but i cant blame the refs for this.  A determined team on their home court stepped up.

I have to disagree slightly. You can't blame the refs ONLY for this...but anyone who did not see the clear discrepancy in foul calls and the resulting foul trouble for the Celtics making playing hard defense impossible to play was not watching the same game.

If the Sixers had shot 10% better in the first half, we would not be talking about the refs though - the Sixers would have won going away. But the Sixers did suck and the refs did engineer a lovely comeback..and the Boston imploded thanks to wonderful small ball coaching.

Why didn't we have Pietrus on Igoudala? I know we are missing Ray's ability to hit a key shot but if we need some offense/defense substitutions at the end of the game to win then we need to do it, Ray's terrible defense was what broke us in a tie game.
AND peitrus can drive, get up to block shots...and shoot 3's.....rotations...doc....he freezes up..cannnot go away from those 5....

This game wasn't lost in the last 5 minutes. It was lost in the horrid 3rd quarter and the sloppy start of the 4th. Lost by the Celtics with the help of the refs.

Iggy and Lou Williams made circus shots, and Kennedy and his crew were the clowns.

It's frustrating to loose a game like this in the playoffs, but the Celtics go back to Boston with HCA. Now they need to put the effort and the will to play.

Stop blaming on Ray. It was the whole team, as CoachBo said. And Doc didn't find the key to make the team work. They need to use this two days to think about this and stop laying games like this.

Good night. Have fun.

Go Celtics!

they shot 37% and won.  Outrebounded 52 to 38.  Is what it is.  We're an undersized team.  We weren't even supposed to get this far.  I can't even be upset.  I thought we would get swept in round 1 and then KG singlehandedly saved the season.  He was 3-12 tonight.  We go as our MVP goes, I guess.

Why was Ray in the game? Why wasn't Bass in the game? Why? Why? Why?

Look. I understand the Celtics as a whole shot themselves in the foot collectively. Even so. We were dueling in the end and the refs said NO. Yeah, you earned getting into the penalty and you drew the foul but NO. Can't have it. Yes, their big gets two extra shots at the line even though he was passing during the foul. I'm not sure why some can't at least acknowledge that momentum killing like that down the stretch makes it virtually impossible. Yes, these Celtics have it in their DNA to get rattled off and on and play under pressure. Yes, they put themselves in the position to have to duel. Tiny bumps got them free throws on one end and Pierce getting a hard swipe gets nothing. No flopping. The hard way. But no.

It's all that stuff combined. Not any one thing. And maybe you honestly don't like Doc, but you'll certainly take him when he draws up magic for a much needed bucket, am I right? Bad coach is very knee-jerk, I think.

Plenty of ball left.

Rondo played very sloppy.
Pierce went into the phone booth then disappeared.
KG gave up numerous offensive boards and was the only one playing any interior D.
RA was a defensive liability.
AB is hurt.
Bass played his best game and then was taken out?????
Hollins was Hollins.
Dooling tried to save the day but was Dooling.

I thought the exact same thing.  Ray was a mismatch on Iggy.  We should of left Bass or Hollins in there in the fourth

Oh yah and the Sixers did hit some crazy shots and played tough D. Give them some credit. Not all the refs and Doc. They called the game loose at the beginning and tight at the end. But we got some calls too. It was poorly officiated all around.
