Its tough to see Stiemsma out of the rotation. But I gotta agree with Doc here, Hollins is light-years better defender.

Stiemer is hurt and doesn't practice, Hollins is more prepared for the playoff matchups.

Call me silly but I think it has more to do with this.

"On a more serious note, Garnett and Hollins were fast friends after they got to spend time together working out in Southern California during the lockout. And it might have been Hollins' intensity that the two players bonded over during pick-up games, which laid the foundation for his arrival after being waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers last week."

KG also said he really likes Stiemsma and that he thinks he will be great for the Celtics.

Philly lucky these refs is helpin em out wit da whistle on some shaky calls or it would be a 20-25 point game instead of 15

You better get use to it. I didn't think CSN carries the Celtics past the first round.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

its not.  I dont know who the other donk is, but Ive been hating on Doris Burke since back when she was doing a horrid job of calling the Atlanta/Celtics playoff games back in '08.

Logged on during halftime to say just this:

Evan Turner is a punk.  It's not just the posturing over PP while he was on his back, but his overall strutting around the court when the ball isn't in play.  Buddy, you aren't that good to do what you're doing.

I'm off the Turner bandwagon and on the Tyreke Evan's.

The NBA and their phantom whistles during scoring streaks are [dang] annoying. The want for officials to create a spectacle and a contest by unfairly punishing the performing team has become a blight on their product.

Let the players play. If the opposition is good enough, they'll find a way to work back into the game.

The officiating makes one wonder about the rumors.

You know Doc and Danny are working hard to get KG back next year.  And yes, Stiemer has had some bad games.  (Though I blame Doc's quick playoffs hook for undermining his confidence.)

No sexism, but I can't watch a game normally when there's a woman commentator. It just won't do.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

I've gone beyond wondering. I am a full time believer in every Tim Donaghy has been preaching about NBA officiating. There's no way a collective group with that much experience can be that collectively inconsistent and incompetent with their work.

I swear I heard one of them say " Bass has had some big games already in these playoffs".
