This is one of the ESPN Insider Rumors. It said in summary that Felton is no longer welcome with the Blazers. I would seriously love to see him get picked up by the Celtics. The guy can run a fast paced offense, and I think with the right teaching can play better defense than he has in the past. I'll take him as the Backup PG anyday.

no way he comes here unless rondo is traded.

Not enough minutes for Felton to have much of an impact, he wouldn't want to come here and the C's are better served getting players at other positions.

last thing we need, he wont come cheap enough to fill or backup point guard role. As long as Rondo and AB are the starting back court the 2nd string pg needs to be a Dooling level veteran, not a younger guys looking for starters minutes

Rondo,         Felton
Bradley  >

Plus, no way he signs here to be a backup PG.

strange thing, this board has had 3 posts Andre Miller, Isaiah Thomas and now Felton. PG is the last thing the Cs need to worry about come this offseason.

He is a Tarheel and helped bring a championship to Chapel Hill so OF COURSE I want him on the Celts.

However, this might be an alum with a HUGE bias towards guys who wore Tarheel blue.  Maybe I am the wrong guy to be objective here?

I've actually liked Dooling lately as the backup pg... is that just me?

Felton was rumored to be one of the leaders of a player mutiny against Nate McMillan.

Exactly. Big men are the most important
Just imagine if the Celtics had a potent lineup of two 7 footers who can score and defend
A guy can dream....

Why would we want Felton when we already have an all star point guard?

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I don't see a reason why we need to brin Felton. As a backup. We should just be investing on a veterans minimum level PG to back Rondo up.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons

I'm actually really happy with the Dooling, Bradley back up options.

If KG comes back the C's need to do whatever they can to get another solid big.
