Celts just didn't take care of business. Both teams brought a lot of fight and put the refs in a tough situation. Coulda gone either way. Lots of tough calls. You can't blame it on refs.

Im disappointed. That was a horrible effort in the first three quarters. Did Pierce even play? I hope we start taking this team seriously; otherwise, we won't have any rest IF we get to the ECF.

You're assuming we're getting to the ECF, which frankly, seems increasingly unlikely.

It's no coincidence this Philly team kicked our asses twice in the regular season, and it's no coincidence that this Philly team almost won game 1 and turned out as the victors in game 2.

The Celtics right now are at the losing end in a war of attrition in terms of talent, and, resultantly, are offensively challenged as evidenced by this game.

The Celtics are losing this series in 6 games, sorry to say.

No I said IF. I'm not assuming anything with these Celtics.

Rondo + Pierce + Bass = 11-for-36 (30.5%)

It's hard to win games when 60% of your starting lineup is throwing up bricks.

wow. just bad. throw in bradley getting hurt...the starters did zip....

If the Celtics had played with any sense of urgency we would have won by double digits. I think we can win this in 5 or 6. I think this game will wake us up.

The longer this series goes the more it favors Philly. They are the younger and fresher team. C's really needed to get this series in 5 and get some rest.

Just watch and see, I see this as no different than our 1-1 split in Atlanta. I say this all the time. Homecourt advantage means absolutely nothing. The Celtics can easily go into Philly and win 2. Once the early excitement settles, the Celtics will lock in and take care of business. I expect the Celtics to be the team that runs the other out of the building.

Watch and see.

I apologize in missing the "if", was too [dang]ed p--- off about the loss when I was reading your post.

At any rate, I appreciate your optimism and hope that your words prove prescient. If not, I'm going to have a hole in my wall before this series is done.

Too much standing still on offense. Whenever Ray plays big minutes it seems this team likes to stand around and watch him bust his behind trying to get around screens. Not his fault but if Ray is still proppy I don't see doc's motivation to play him 20 minutes more than Bradley who can really run at full speed.

Too many jumpshots aswell. Paul Pierce has the best defender on him, so others need to attack their defender and get to the line.

I would have also liked to have seen Marquis play. His defense on the hawks in the time he got was excellent and he caused several turnovers which lead to easy baskets. His size and quickness is useful to defend all of Philly's wing size players aswell. Not to mention you're giving pierce some extra blow.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

"Proppy"? Is that Aussie for "slightly broken"?
