Its a misconception that KG is dirty. To me KG is mouthy than dirty. Tries to get under people's skin but never to harm.

“We don’t get any calls, which I know everybody always hears. But I’ll give you a stat. Last night, we are playing this old physical team. They are old. I know what happens when you play basketball, old guys foul. [Kevin] Garnett is the dirtiest guy in the league. We are playing Boston last night and they had two fouls the whole first half. We had five times that and we’re athletic.”

Haha.  Somebody tell this idiot that our "old" team is simply better than their "athletic" one.  I'd take KG over any player on the Hawks roster, including Horford.

No doubt. The three best players in this series play for Boston. No one on Atlanta I would take over KG, Rondo, and Paul Pierce.

I have tears in my eyes im laughing so hard.

The Hawks owner is really mad that his young athletic team is getting beat by old guys.

I hope they read this tonight and this helps them win tomorrow to put them away.
He calls this team old yet this old team is one game away at their house from eliminating his team. This "old team" as he stated before game 5 whooped his younger and more athletic team by 20+ points.
Also yes KG is dirty, but I bet money he would love KG on his team. Most of the GM's or owners who talk about KG would take him on their team because of his team leadership and experience. Heck most players would take KG on their team. He's a player that if on your team you love, but you hate if he wasn't.

I agree with this.  KG is dirty, but dirty in a "push the rules and try not to get caught" sort of way.  Throwing sneaky elbows when jostling for position, setting hard screens, etc.  He plays physical, and generally, he's not out there looking to injure anybody.

I know he's just venting on behalf of his team, but it's not like their side hasn't gotten more than their fair share of calls this year. Rondo isn't old. Bradley isn't old. He talks like experience doesn't count anymore. The DNA of the Hawks team is to foul and pout when you're not wrecking things athletically.

As for KG, he's not infallible. He gets called on screens. He has tactics. He pushes buttons. And you know if he had been traded to Atlanta, he'd be saying, "The other team just isn't playing intelligently. KG is one of the best defenders to ever play and he changed our culture forever. Sure, he likes to get his hands dirty and plays with grit. That historically gets under everyone's skin, but everyone would kill to have that and to pass that on to younger kids."

No way I'm taking KG over Collins.

Apparently this fool hasn't heard that a few of the Celtics are playing hurt as well. Boo hoo. Horford, Smith and Zaza shouldn't be playing. Tell that to Paul Pierce's knee, to Ray Allen's ankle, to Avery Bradley's shoulder, to Greg Stiemsma's foot, to KG's hip, to Rajon Rondo's back and to Mickael Pietrus' hamstring.
