Interesting that I've never heard this opinion from someone even remotely respected within the league. It always comes from butt-hurt opponents or those who don't understand KG's passion for the game.

KG plays hard and with a passion. He never intended to injure anybody.

This is more fuel to the fire. First, the Horford "see you in Boston, mother you know whats", and now this.

I wont be surprised this is going to be a blowout. And Horford will get a "see you next season" HARD but not dirty hit from KG.

I'm being sincere when i ask this.. Do you root for this team? Again im not trying to sound condescending im really actually curious to know. I don't think ive seen you make a positive post yet. If i'm wrong to ask my apologies ahead of time. I don't read all your posts obviously. But when i do you seem to have a negative stance almost every time i've seen. Sticking to your gut is admirable especially around these parts, but i sometimes question your motivations. Are you contrarian because honestly that's how you feel? Or is it to keep the discussion moving/baiting slightly? Just curious.

Of course I root for the Celtics, but I'm also not a blind homer.  This team has a lot of flaws and KG is a "dick" who plays dirty and always has.  I don't think he intends to injure, but he is always looking for ways to bend the rules and often plays unnecessarily physical.  After all, there is a reason KG is always voted onto the dirtiest player list by the players in the league.  

The most recent poll released at the end of April (which was a survey from 146 players) KG was 2 behind just Reggie Evans.

So it would appear that KG isn't actually the dirtiest, just the 2nd dirtiest.

KGs toned it down quite considerably this year and people still whine....these quotes are just an embarassment to his pathetic franchise...but for those who say KG isnt dirty? he is, sorry and I dont like how he gets a pass for being so and for everything for that matter within this fanbase...like when he slapped quentin richardson in the face amd got ejected and suspended for a playoff game i didnt see the general theme i did with rondo for bumping a ref, that KG is "immature" or "needs to grow up" hes just passionate

Funny list of "DIRTY" players, "RYAN HOLLINS" LoL. Most of those guys play hard , smart and old school.  Anybody ever really watch the "OLD" Celtics , Pistons, Bucks, Lakers , ect play? Henderson learned from his dad.  Great stuff.  They were tuff , they played ruff , no blood no foul.  Those 15 dirtest players in that article are barely average in terms of aggressive play  when you look at the 60-80's teams compete.

Anderson, Love, Paul , KG, Henderson, all my favorite players to watch. Great stuff.!!!     

You didn't drive like D WAde and get free dunks on Lambeer, Rambis , Dave Cowans , Bird , Malone, everyteam had at least one enforcer. MJ paid the price for dunking back then.  KG is not even in the running compared to the 70's basketball greats.   Wilt Chamberlin would give your players something to really cry about.

I mean, he's right really... Last month Sports Illustrated polled all NBA players asking them who the dirtiest player in the league was:

Reggie Evans: 34%
Metta World: 9%
Garnett: 9%

Also Evans, Metta, and Garnett were numbers one two and three in the leagues "Most Annoying Player" poll...

Dirty is a loose term in todays NBA because the players are such whining pansies.

Also a 9% vote for dirtiest players isn't very overwhelming. Basically 1 guy on every team thinks kg is the dirtiest

Off topic but how is Chris Paul not on the list? He is freaking dirty!! He's a little guy so he gets away with it but seriously watch him when he tries to run through a screen

Yeah thats a good point on Chris Paul CelticG. I alsways see him getting away with grabbing jerseys and pushing off... I see a lot of the Clippers as "Dirty" I tihnk you can throw Griffin in the mix as well.

Im talking about the foul complaints he had. Did he lay off just enough to not get fined?

Since this guy, as KG would put it, is a nobody, is nothing gonna happen. You'd have to think that Cuban would ne fined for this no?
