Or a missed Bass dunk. Or a missed Pierce layup. Or a bad Rondo pass when he had a wide-open layup. Or ...

Don't get me started on Bass. Never in million years would have thought Hollins would be more valuable than Bass.

With back-to-backs looming in the second round we are setting ourselves up for disaster.

If we even get there next game is our Game 7 dont want to go to Atlanta

Anyone calling for Chris Paul, go look at the last possession of the lasy Clips/Grizz game and get back to me. Give me a break. Any blame on Rondo here is more about individual bias than reality. Doesn't help when everyone else just stands around. CP3, that isn't Change I can believe in.

If you're gonna blame Rondo then blame him for his play in the first half. However that last play  just ended unfortunately because that steal was great.

look, the hawks were hitting everything, and the celts were missing their usual shots(plus rondo was passive in the first half)

and we lost by 1 point...we're still up 3-2 and going back home to Boston...I expect our guys to go out and close this series up thursday.

I am shocked they lost this one. Atlanta absolutely stunk up the joint for large parts of (the majority of) this game. How they managed to sneak a win I don't know. Just fell apart at the wrong time late in the game I guess.

Bad loss.

Is Chris Paul available this offseason?

I don't know is he going to make us rebound better

Chris Paul is closer. We need a closer badly

You're right. Chris Paul would have easily been able to get up a shot against Horford.

problem being that Chris Paul wouldn't have made that steal to begin with.

We're in trouble.  Horford completely changes this series.  WE're still the obscenely undersized team, but when you throw in the fact that Pierce and Ray are at about 60%... we should be extremely alarmed right now.

We gave this game away, and I'm not worried that it will happen again on Thursday.

Doc, please play Stiemsma more ... Hollins has got some game, but he's been a detriment at times, (four fouls), and we've got to have more boards!

Rebounds, rebounds, rebounds.

Addendum: And please, please, start Ray Allen, (and I don't mean the minutes ... I think Avery should be on Teague, but for the sake of chemistry, bring him off the bench, and give Ray the respect).

(Watching the replay now ... we completely gave up on our interior defense in the last seven minutes-or-so ... and became very sloppy with our execution).

** The only Atlanta starter with less than forty-one minutes was Williams, (who had 35+) ... granted, they had to win this game, but they're going to be fatigued and winded on Thursday. **

Again, I thought we played "cute" at times.   Could have won as those spurts indicated but went for the dramatic finish instead of dropping the hammer on them.

MAybe it was asking alot to beat the Hawks 4 times in a row.

Hawks played good , but the game was winable , couple really bad lapses to let the Hawks back in .

Steamer doesn't look right.   He is tip toeing around way to gingerly .   We miss his healthy energy.

Rondo shooting is a totally confidence thing.  He hasn't got the if I miss , it was an accident attitude yet.  He misses a few shots and then thinks his game is over.  :-\

Need ROndo and Bradley to be VERY PRODUCTIVE to trounce the Hawks.

IF the good RONDO shows up , beating the Hawks is not a big deal.

Need the ALstar Rondo .
