Is Chris Paul available this offseason?

I don't know is he going to make us rebound better

Chris Paul is closer. We need a closer badly

I don't care how good the steal was, even if we fouled them we have a chance to tie the game and we probably get a better shot off out of the inbounds, Rondo HAS to make a pass or get a shot off there, it is unacceptable to just dribble in circles and lose the ball at the 3 point line.

I fear we may have missed a chance to beat the Hawks.

We needed to take them out before Hortford came back, now that hes back he has dominated us twice. We have to change our game plan or something.

If you didn't see that coming, you don't know this team.  As soon as Rondo stole it away, I knew he was gonna keep the ball, not even think to pass, and try and throw up a terrible shot.

This is frustrating.  We should've won this game.

It shows you just how much of a superior team the Celtics are.  Cause when you really break this game down, the Celtics played like crap for about 80% of this game, the Hawks just played better tonight, period.  And with all that, the Celtics still could've and should've won this game.

Just so frustrating.

Do fans need a scapegoat that badly?  First attacking Pierce, and now Rondo?

So true. Don't mind the fact that Rondo stole the ball. He missed a dribble. Everyone else was not playing good tonight. Pierce is dragging his leg all day. Let's blame Rondo and Pierce for not putting enough effort. Ugh, some of the fans here just... I don't even know what to say.

can't hate on rondo for that. no TOs, and happened to have the 2 atlanta bigs in his way. incredible play to get the steal. just wish doc stuck w/ pietrus over pierce. my big concern now is that, by playing so many minutes, pierce won't be remotely right for game 6, either. i don't feel comfortable with any lead in this series because of our health issues.

If the C's can't beat ATL even with Horford they never stood a chance at a title anyways.

I need to see a replay, but from what it looked like there weren't a lot of clear passing lanes for Rondo.  Smith smothered him, and the rest of the team wasn't looking for the ball.

While typing this, I just saw the replay.  Yeah, nobody was even attempting to get open for a pass, or looking for one.  They had their eyes forward, running up court.

All I'm saying is the steal may have put us in a worse position to get a quality posession than if we had fouled them and actually ran a play.

A couple of subtle points.  Why take ray out of the game if we were just going to foul?  Second, rondo should have gone to the middle of the floor to give himself more options.  He ran himself into a corner.

Great play by Rondo...bad timeout management by Doc. Tough loss.

Seriously...it's getting ridiculous.

I've said this every year, but fans cannot expect playoff series to be easy. The hawks have a lot of really talented & athletic guys. They're playing at home.. The Celts played well below their ceiling but they still had 2-3 chances to win the game. I wouldn't bet against the I'd in game 6.
