It is a bit of a stretch. However, we are officially and literally the worst offensive rebounding NBA team in history. How many KG put-backs have you seen in the last three years? It appears that Rondo called this spot on, and KG acknowledged him.
I'm not following. So you think Rondo planned this?
I find that unlikely. First, Rondo's goal was to make the shot, not miss it. Second, if that shot caroms off to the left or right, KG crashing the boards like that does no good. I don't think there was a lot that was pre-planned about that play.
It was a good move to get an open shot by Rondo, and a great effort by KG to get the put back, but I don't think it was anything more than that.
