honestly i would love him to sit because i think this team is good enough to make it there without him, but still, sitting out until semi's will effect his game.

He has to play at some point to get his critical game rhythm back. We will need a threat from outside to bust the zone defenses and create inside lanes for KG and Rondo.

Lin had surgery to correct his problem, Ray has Bone Spurs, they dont go away until they are surguicaly removed, so while Lins been healing, Rays hasnt gotten any better until off season surgery.

Portland takes the cake on that though, right?  It's too bad he didn't address this issue with surgery right away. Then maybe he would have been 100% by now. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.

Hopefully we can get 15-20 minutes of Ray in these playoffs. Otherwise, I cannot see us going all the way.

Injuries in sports aren't a cooincidence, everyone is equally likely to have them.  JO, Chris Wilcox, Ray Allen, and Pietrus have all missed significant time with injuries this year....in as shortened season.  We've had key injuries every season since 2008 and our players are usually behind-schedule on recovery times.
