I think that would be ridiculous. 

The only reason I could see it happening is out of concern that Rondo hasn't learned his lesson with the ball-throwing suspension and needs an escalating penalty in this case.

He bumped a referee.

How would a suspension for that be "ridiculous"?  Touching an official is one of the biggest non-nos in sports.

It was definitely intentional, but I don't think he'll be suspended. But I think we'll win the next game with or without him, along with the series.

If this series turns on a well-deserved suspension, the fault is 100 percent Rondo's. Trying to pin any of this on David Stern is, to put it kindly, disingenuous.

2 game suspension will be a joke on top of the toss, that will mean that rondo for passing a ball to a ref and bumping a ref would have gotten nearly as much as MMA ron artest. But we already know the league is a joke anyway, so it figures

it was intentional.  watch the footage from above where you can see his feet.  regardless of stepping on the refs foot, he continued forward under his own control and made deliberate contact -- even puffed out his chest to make contact.

1 game suspension minimum, wouldn't be surprised if it was 2.

After watching footage of Turkoglu putting two hands on the referee in mostly non-threatening disagreement and getting a game suspension I guess I'm revising my optimism regarding the suspension.

It was stupid for the ref to t up rondo for screaming.. It's the playoffs for crying out loud. Rondo shouldn't have bumped him though. That was clearly intentional. Anyway I still think they'll win it all..
